Nah - that will be the next game.

Today will be horrible. Im up for it, but under no illusions we are going to boss this. I think mostly likely we grind out 1-1 today.

Agree.

If we’re to win I’m expecting it to be a brutal watch lol

We are moving towards a settled team.

I would be surprised if there was a change in goal or in defence.  Fatawu and Daka seem nailed on.  Monga and Mavididi  will swap a lot to protect Monga.

The midfield is where things could change.   Skipp and Soumare's places should be under threat.  Winks is our best midfielder.   James could start.  Ramsey's red card raises questions.

It will be interesting to see who plays in midfield

Don’t do it to yourself. It’s going to be Skipp and Soumare.

Big day today for team news, he’s had plenty of time to access the team, so who’s gonna be in and out, presumably this match will start setting the tone for first choice 11

There's certainly some truth in this, but in our case it also very much depends on proximity to Coventry and Nottingham. Derby seems to be the lesser of the three rivalries at present but the same applies to them.

I feel like Derby hate us and feel they should have had our success, we seem to pity them like a lot other teams do for some reason.

Coventry just seem like we should be rivals as we’re nearer to them than they are to Nottingham and Derby.

i don’t really care about Nottingham Forest as I still remember a comment about the grounds being half empty during their successful period, especially in Europe.

It's a huge, huge, huge game...for them. For us, just another game

Huge game for us as we should be seeing what the first choice 11 is shaping up to be.

Imo today is the day it either all comes to together and we have our first complete 90 minute performance win comfortably

OR we never get going and their players come out like rabid dogs and we limp to a pathetic loss.

Agree, but there is a worry about another red card if we come out like rabid dogs

Have you even seen the odd shoot to suggest we've got another level, I've seen commitment but I've not seen much that's made me think "Ah, it's gonna click soon"

I think with a midfield of Winks and JJ we become a different beast, but if we line up with Skipp and Soumare in midfield then we're not suddenly going to turn into some dominant force, because simply we're not

I'd just take seeing some attacking intent in the first half and not going into limp mode if we do get a lead.

completely agree, need to be seeing the first choice 11 now or very soon. We could be promoted with the Skipmare midfield but it often makes uncomfortable viewing for many fans.

I still remember my naivety in going to watch Coventry vs Leicester at a pub in Rugby and being surprised and so disappointed at it being a haunt for Coventry fans…

I think today will be a hard game as we still don’t have a settled 11 but now the transfer window has closed I think over the next 5 games we will see where we are at. Losing today won’t mean they will finish above us . Think we have done well to get the points on board so far with so much uncertainty regarding who stays and goes . Just don’t let them get an early goal . And they clearly just shoot from anywhere after having 659 shots last game so close them down early before they get a clear shot

No silly red card either as if we have ten men against Oxford we win that even playing crap

I’m nervous now, not going to lie. This is the best chance they’ve got of beating us at home.

We’re vulnerable, and they’re capable…… so I’m concerned.

Id be less concerned if we could all sit here and say Ricardo, Faes, Winks, James and Carranza will all start… however, we all know deep down, the team will be exactly the same as it was V Oxford, with the only change being Ayew playing in the ten, and potentially Carranza up front.

I think Marti is going to go completely reserved until he is 100% satisfied that he’s got control of this team. We will likely sit deep and let Cov try to break us down and hit them on the break. I’m going to go with 2-2 draw. Cov will end up 2-0 up and once Marti brings on the likes of Ricardo, Winks, James and Carranza we will turn it around.

I’ve just got a feeling that Marti will be more pragmatic than we probably want him to be.

I think Ricardo will, he was before wasn’t he. Just rotating him but as he was off the bench last week, I think he will start. James might as well. Can’t see Carranza start but would be good to see him come on at some stage.

Genuine question, What's the Leicester/ Cov ratio in Hinckley  ?

Annoys me that there's any Cov in Leicestershire. 🤣

Just had my first wine. I'll put the effort in and I expect nothing less from my team.

A rallying call for the cabbage soup and knife and fork to eat a sandwich brigade. If there's one game I ask you to have a pulse and soul, may this be it. Head every ball, do sliding tackles in the concourse and spend the £100 you reserve for the club shop every other week for Carling Premier.

They do those wrap things that Maccy Ds stopped doing. Best thing from Canada since Iain Hume.
