The lad does 1-2-1 sessions with a highly rated coach from Northampton and some of the stuff he is pulling off in matches is coming straight from those sessions.

The constant repetition is working wonders for him.

He looks like a real talent.

He’ll make mistakes but I think he deserves a run starting in the side now. He looks a lot more composed on the ball than he did in August.

I really like the look of him. We need some sort of positivity in the side.

You can see how he's growing as a player, getting stronger, more composed, but still full of running. A great example for Monga who, understandably enough, is struggling to make an impact right now.

Though I should add, regarding Monga, that what you tend to look for from youngsters is a bit of raw enthusiasm and energy, and I'm not sure we're getting enough of that from him. I hope the hype hasn't got to him, because he looks a tad too cocky at times. It's Page, for me, who has earned the minutes, and when things stopped working for Mavididi in the second half I thought - some time before the 72nd minute or whenever it was that we finally made a change - that we might have considered shifting Reid out wide for a bit and bringing Page on as the ten, instead of going for Monga. Things get a bit stagnant sometimes and when you have an option who's as effective as Page has been, the manager could perhaps look to a tweak or two at an earlier stage rather than waiting too long and making a flurry of them.

Of course, there's a lot of growing up to do for both of them. There'll be times when we have to be patient. Look at Nelson, who's four or five years older - even at his age we have to accept that there'll be off days, like today.

I would like to see Page, alongside JJ, with Skipp playing in front of the back 4 and utilise DCR as a false 9. Both JJ  and Page can support the attack. I also think this would make us more compact and defensively more solid.

I think this is an interesting idea. I can see that midfield being able to hold much more control than we have had in games recently.

He wasn't on long yesterday, but I thought he showed very impressive intelligence on the pitch to prevent a couple of counter attacking opportunities for Wrexham at the end of the game yesterday. Clearly the lad's got a good footballing brain.

Quite the opposite of Ayew who has an uncanny knack of preventing our counter attacking opportunities.

Only saw him for about 2 minutes last night but he looks class and composed already. Trust him more than Hamza.

Agree, Choudhury's passing ability seems to have regressed further.

Good shout. We need to get more players in the team who are comfortable in possession and want the ball. At the moment we use the ball like it's a hot potato

He did really well to get a block in to stop them doing us on the counter near the end.

Showed good strength as well get past their player to get a ball into the box.

He looks like he’s enjoying being out there whilst Monga is struggling (I don’t blame him for that)

He should have come on when James went off, but Marti's lack of trust in our younger players led him put Ricardo on instead, who had a stinker.

Wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him go with Soumare and Hamza against Oxford

Oh this will 100% what’ll happen.

Hamza Soumare with Reid just in front

Deserves a start. Looks a different player to the one who started the season. Wants the ball, runs with the ball and looks like he’s bulked up a bit

Really concern about the damage, playing in this current environment is impacting on Page and Monga, the toxic nature of the dressing room and the relationship with the fans.

They are just kids.

Would like to think they know the fans aren’t angry with them
