That's all fine and dandy, as long as there's an end product to it. And goals.

There’s been lots of end product. We’ve created lots of chances. There are 11 players trying to stop us scoring you know. We don’t have a divine right to win. We are however playing lots of fast positive football and trying to score.

I'm having a nice family meal out in Newcastle,  if anyone's interested.

What type of establishment are you eating out?

This has potential to be tonight’s most interesting conversation.

Suffering with no genuine 9 playing again. One moment of poor defending by Faes. Go 2 up top Marti please and take off Mavididi. Give Carranza a full 45.

Our xG 0.75, theirs 0.21

We've created some chances, Mavididi looks like hes woken up a bit, it's not all doom and gloom

Not fair because most of that is the Ricardo shit which wasn't a Ricardo shot.

If that is Ayew trying to score, then I’ve got a shot of being a footballer.

We look a really good side. But unfortunately don't ever look like scoring

Its highly unlikely you will score goals if you don't play a striker

It's basically a less effective Enzo style

The issue is we don't move the ball fast enough. I thought Enzo's style was slow at times but this is slower still. Means we can't break the lines and pull them out of shape. Even harder now we're a goal down as they're happy to sit in. No idea what Faes was thinking for that goal, just shows why he can't be in the relied upon.

I’m still laughing at how bad the defending was for their goal 😂 tragic

These are garbage but have set up well

Best we can hope for here is a draw

Vesty brain fart!!! Come rushing out and left us well out of shape

He pressed the ball, it was a brilliant touch by the striker round the corner …… Faes could have engaged him and hoofed him into the middle of next week or he clips have fouled him and took the yellow, instead he went to ground and didn’t even engage a tackle it as like a 6 year old frightened of getting hurt.

Usually I end up defending ayew somewhat but the Statue of Liberty would be more use up top today

Carranza must be seriously unfit or seriously poor.

Some ridiculous overreaction on here. We’ve been the better side and have actually created a couple of very decent chances. Unfortunately if one of your centre halves decides to topple over as if he’s been shot by a sniper when the opposition are attacking, it can spell trouble. I’m still confident we’ll get something here. We need an actual centre forward on the pitch, though.
