Those people saying lucky draw what game were you watching? West Brom basically played as the away team. They literally didn’t want the ball and tried to pack the defence and play on the break. We just were very poor in front of goal tonight. Other than  that we totally dominated the game, the possession and the chances. West Brom are no mugs despite getting written off on here. They have real quality at this level. Iling Jnr, Johnston, Price, would be assets in our team, plus  lots of prem experience at the back.

 TBF Mavadidi was our best player today. If Monga is starting, we need to drop ayew and bouba and play monga in the 10.

What did Soumare do wrong tonight, he was very good arguably our best player. 
 

Mavididi was good first half, Fatawu had one of those games where his decision making was all over the place and as good as Riccy P has been he was poor tonight, Faes was criminal for the goal. But most will focus on players like Mav, Soumare etc as it suits a narrative. 
 

oh and Carranza offered even less than Ayew.

@splinterdream you asked me in the match thread "what are we" when I said WBA are a poor side. I went to reply to you but the thread got closed. 

 

My answer is, we are also a poor side! 

 

Should we be? Absolutely not!

 

This league is atrocious but Marti needs to sort our attacking play out very soon or it will be a long, horrible season. 

 

A draw away to WBA isn't awful but our performances in general do not inspire any hope that we will have a good season.

Meh. Played poor and avoided defeat. Think we started well, Faes let us down with yet more poor defending. Won’t be cupping his ear for that one or putting it on his show reel. But fought back to avoid defeat. Probably a striker/10 away from being a decent side

You must have stopped watching at half time? Surely?

What frustrated me the most about that game was how many times, under no pressure at all, we just passed straight to the opposition. Guys, you're considered reasonably talented, highly paid professionals in your sport. How can you not pass effectively?!

Were the better side for long spells. Probably would have take a point before the game started but really need to sharpen up with the shooting. Shame Vardy didn't give us one more season.

More cracks barely papered over. If we can just limp our way to January in the top 6, then buy the striker that we should have already bought, we still have a decent chance of promotion. 

 

Probably says more about the league than us though.

They had nearly as many shots and far more on target. We dominated the ball when we passed at the back, until they pressured us, when we gave it away. We were the better team in the first half but they were better than us in the second.

No.. I'm afraid not mate,

 

Just seems like the on paper this team should be miles better than the sh1t shows they serve up for us, but the mix for some reason just doesn't work.

 

And it pains me to say, but I'm not really bothered if I'm honest. I've finally got to stage that if I don't get to see the match, either at the KP or on a screen I'm not kicking myself, like I used too do.

Fell off big time after the break.

 

The James substitution was a poor decision that took away cohesion. Lucky to get that equaliser at the end though on the balance of play was fair enough.

 

Will take the point. However, not good enough on or off the pitch and some serious thinking needed especially with the lack of a threat up front.

Come on, we are not a poor side from a Championship perspective. Nor are West Brom though!

This was one of those games where Soumare looked decent. We just lacked creativity in the final third. We look like a side that is still getting used to playing with each other. Don't get the hate for BDCR, he might be decent at this level. Wasn't a fan of the ayew as a 10 role, I really think we need to try playing without ayew starting
