Would be unpopular but wonder if Levy could be tempted for a project…

Daniel Levy owns an approximate 29% of spurs. A club that just rejected an offer of £4.5bn.

He isn’t coming here to take instructions of a moron like Top or Rudkin.

It'll be a yes man/woman. They purposely will not bring anybody into the club who will potentially undermine them down the line. They probably couldn't believe their luck when Chelsea came for Maresca, as he was showing signs of it.

Just strikes me as more build up for a sale/new investment to be honest.

Leaving space in the CEO seat makes it nice and easy for a new owner, or if it's extra investment, whoever invests can take that seat.

Can't see the pair of them being savvy enough to think of that.

No which is why it appears more of a done deal to me, I wouldn't be surprised if more announcements followed this.

Mind you Tops first act as "Interim CEO" was to **** off back to Thailand yesterday night lol

I was going to make this suggestion but for reasons of good taste I thought I’d check he hasn’t croaked . Turns out he now earns a living as a motivational speaker lol

Whelan’s departure suggests Top regards Rudkin as higher up the food chain than the CEO

It could just be that he thinks replacing a CEO is easier than replacing a DoF.

I think we should look broader than just CEO's with a footballing background - specifically I'd be looking for someone with some turnaround experience and a track record of getting to A to B with speed in whatever business they've been in previously. Someone who has a strong commercial background and some kind of real estate experience too would be helpful.

But it'll be some KP loyalist.
