Frustrating that he’s not doing himself any favours and it’ll lead to him being sacked because none of this is his fault.

 

Put Guardiola on the touch line and it won’t make any difference. You can’t polish a turd and this squad is full of them.

You say that but Southampton were worse than us last season and have stunk the place out so far this season - they look a different side under this new coach.

I'm really not sure what manager would want to come here with these players. I read or heard someone say League 1 and 2 players know their level. As do Premiership players. But in the Championship you have players who think they're Premiership quality not realising they genuinely are Championship standard. Most teams might have 1 or 2, but we've got about 10 of them. These players aren't just bad; they're delusional. And all prospective managers know it.

 

Makes me laugh when people mention we should have picked Dyche - like he was ever coming here - even last year. And I don't want Andy King saddled with this lot, he doesn't deserve it.

 

I don't think we can attract a manager who can get through to this lot who they'd respect. We had someone like that in RvN and the players threw a strop and we all wanted him sacked. I wish we'd kept him now, he'd called out some of these bluffers and started the process of rebuilding. This is three different managers now and it gets worse and worse as the actual quality leaves.

 

People say Marti doesn't know tactics. I don't know, but he might just have decided this lot are so bad at scoring goals and defending his best tactic is to s**thouse games and hope for individual brilliance. I'm starting to think he might be right. They're so erratic and inconsistent. 

 

We're such a badly assembled team. Our defence is so slow and genuinely braindead. We don't even have a defensive midfielder that can offer any protection. As soon as we lose the ball we just get cut through on the counter. All our central midfielders (apart from James) are stat-padders, who it's clear someone has looked at stats like pass completion and distance covered but not considered how they'd gel as a team.

He played aluko like all of you were begging for look how that turned out maybe its time to realise its not the manager the players just arent good enough w eneed serious investment in january

He’s not in the top 20 of people that need to do one at LCFC.

 

Nothing changes if Marti gets sacked. The only thing it does it take away from the transfer kitty.

We playing keep ball between defenders same as was under Rodgers, I think the problem is still above the manager, any replacement will be told to play the same way, if they dont, they get an early exit like we seen last season.

 

Not saying the manager is a success, but I think the problem is far bigger than the manager at the moment.

we're playing Faes and Vestergaard they aren't interested in being here but tonight we literally had no other senior CBs as options

Hence me saying we got bigger problems, we need a complete squad clear out of all the ex EPL players, change of football philosophy and of course a sporting/football director change.

 

The only player busting a gut got sent off.

What? What have you been watching all year? We don’t create chances or attack and hope for wonder goals, the bloke plays for 0-0’s no attacking intent at all

Cifuentes really isn’t good enough is he! There is no system or tactics that I can seen and he has them all week! It’s no surprise to me that people have posted on here from other teams message boards that we are the worst team they have played against!

If it was cheap and possession football they should have kept Brian Barry Murphy. 
I am convinced that a different and more robust manager would get a better tune out of this squad.

I’ve been watching this squad of players do that for years mate.

 

If Marti gets sacked then we’ll only go for the next flavour of the month Aldi Pep and we’ll have to act surprised when Wout Faes defends like a twat as we lose against the absolute guff in this league.
