oundlefox Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 The guy is so far out of his depth. We could and probably should have lost that. Bristol City are shite and we made them look world beaters second half. Absolute dross 4
studentofthegame Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 I would love to know what he does at half time We come out looking like utter shit at the start of every second half 1
winteriscoming Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 I don’t want Russell Martin but I genuinely think we’d have more points at this stage with him in charge than Cifuentes. 1
sdb Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 That could easily have ended 5-2. And we were absolutely cruising. I dont understand how a team can collapse so easily, against such mediocre opposition. There was no sense of the manager or players having any clue, desire or identity in that second half. Complete powder puff crap
DezFox Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 He is shocking and is building nothing, absolutely nothing 4

Cifuentes can only dream of having Martin's record in the Championship. He's a Spanish Craig Levein. 1
leicesterlad1989 Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 Page for James was the substitution to make. That fact it didn't happen shows his lack of trust with our young lads. The blokes out of his depth. 1

Popular Post Kitchandro Posted 10 December 2025 Popular Post Posted 10 December 2025 Support must be dwindling for him now surely. There’s not a lot of excuses when you’re 2-0 against Bristol City and can’t see the game out. That’s management flaws, not players being incapable. This guy doesn’t learn lessons. 9

People still find excuses somehow. If after that monstrosity of a second half you can’t see he’s massively out of his depth then dear me

Even if he didn’t want to put page into the holding area, he should have brought Ricky or Aluko on at RB and moved hamza into the middle. Not rocket science. For ten mins we surrendered any control of the game and encouraged them on even more. The players must be confused. 1
JonnyZeroFox Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 The fact that most called it when we went in at half-time time, that we would forget how to play football tells me something about this guys ability to manage this team.

We would have nearly 15 points more if we had RVN in charge. But when you hire a Lawyer instead of a manager dont expect good results
Stadt Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 We have to go 3-0 up to win a game and we’ve done that once all season. **** him off. Actually bring on Russel Martin and the deduction because that will wake theremaining m ongs the **** up about our trajectory 2
CrazyKopCorner Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 (edited) Why didn’t he bring in Ricardo. Could have gone into midfield or could have pushed Hamza in there. Instead we had absolutely **** all and just let them dictate. He has to go after this. Shocking absolutely ****ing shocking - a complete dereliction. Edited 10 December 2025 by CrazyKopCorner 2
Kierzz Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 One of the most tactically inept managers we've had in a long time. On par with RVN, possibly even worse. He's tactical and substitution decisions during each game are terrible.
Legend_in_blue Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 I couldn't tell what the system was second half and neither could the players. Shocking mismanagement against a very ordinary Bristol side. Marti isn’t good enough. 1
Popular Post Claudio Fannieri Posted 10 December 2025 Popular Post Posted 10 December 2025 I have wanted to support him and defended him for inheriting a complete and utter mess however that is yet another game where we have thrown away points from a good winning position at half time. It’s not only the result but the nature of those performances in the 2nd half where we have literally shown zero attacking intent and looked like rabbits caught in the headlights against bang average opposition. The concern I have is that he really doesn’t seem to have a coherent plan to play as a counter attacking unit in the 2nd half of games when ahead we just seem to want to sit deep soak up pressure and hope for the best. 6

CrazyKopCorner Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 (edited) Personally ive liked him before the season and wanted to give him a chance as he’s inherited some shite but **** me he just wants to head even faster into the ice berg. A complete and utter waste of time. I’d sack him tonight Edited 10 December 2025 by CrazyKopCorner
Popular Post Tielemans63 Posted 10 December 2025 Popular Post Posted 10 December 2025 20 games in and not one 90 minute performance in that time. I'd argue we haven't even managed a strong 60 minutes in a game yet, let alone a full 90. 10
JonnyBoy Posted 10 December 2025 Posted 10 December 2025 fist time in many games I am not mad at the players, finally dropped winks and faes which is a positive. But tonight was inexcusable,. A good Manager or even semi good manager wins that game tonight at a canter. Such a downer after all the positives from Saturday - could have gained momentum after tonight and put a run together. I won't be watching another game until he is gone, he isn't right for the club, he isn't a football manager and he is ruining our season. Constantly 1 step forward, 2 steps back.
