He was the wrong choice from the start but was prepared to give him a chance but he clearly hasn't got what it takes, we have lost too many games we should have won and alot of the wins have only been due to the keepers making exceptional saves.

We need to make a change now before we get points deduction and start getting a run of wins together to get to close to a playoff, probably better not going up this  season instead start building for the future losing the dead wood along the way as contracts come to an end, but we need someone who going to get us going forward.

Fair play to him for convincing Top and Rudders that as he’s from Barcelona he’s mustard.

we need to cut our losses and let someone appoint a manager who is not going to be fooled by false promises and PowerPoint presentations.

But you have already said what this shower do when faced with hard truths/discipline. Not quite sure what type of personality they need, but I somehow doubt our primadonna’s would cope with a hard man type.

To be honest when I wrote it I was looking at it more from a: I like Andy King and don't want him saddled with this lot. And don't want his reputation tarnished.

The only way this squad will work is if the 'hard man' actually has enough authority to put people in a bomb squad and banish them.

I think now we are reaching the point where everyone is starting to realise that it's the only way forward and it's pointless carrying on with the likes of Faes and Winks. Even the most delusional players can see how bad they are in the Championship.

There is a few rumours circulating from the inside hes sacked but im insure atm

Talk Sport said earlier that Aiyawatt was thinking about making a change before today’s result, so there might be some truth to that.

Yep. Unreal from some on here.

He was the perfect candidate.

We can't keep sacking managers. It costs money. Not healthy to keep having different people at the helm. Look how well we did when we sacked Cooper last season. Nothing ng changes until we have got rid of the dead wood. That will start in the summer.

I thought this before the Southampton game but now i am not so sure. I think todays 1st half performance was probably a product of a lot of unrest about the club, which has likely come from internal rumours that he is in big big trouble. If that's the case, no way he survives that first half display.

Guy on twitter suggesting he has been sacked. Don’t know how reliable but he knew that Nelson was starting before anyone else and has leaked a few line ups that have been roughly correct.

He was never coming here and you know it.

Whether he was or wasn't, a good few people on here preferred the idea of Cifuentes, based on absolutely nothing.

Because he’s Spanish. If he was English people would have been turning their noses up at him.

I preferred discussing a manager we were likely going to get! Dyche was always going to hold out for a PL job.

He's gone.

You have to question though the mentality of people who picked him in the first place. The decision making of 'lets appoint a bloke who QPR fans were glad to see the back of,' rather than Wilder who got 100pts with Sheffield Utd and takes no nonsense.

Aiyawatt is surely too busy leading the "football operations revamp" that is definitely actually happening

Got shot down when I mentioned him and Wilder.

Whoever is next needs to bin this modern trend of putting a philosophy before anything else. We need someone who understands what Pearson understood - work ethic and character come first. The perfect example is him playing a struggling previously non-league Vardy ahead of marquee signing Jermaine Beckford.
