Popular Post Guesty Posted 29 November 2025 Popular Post Posted 29 November 2025 Why do people want Andy King? It could be an absolute disaster. I've never seen anything about him saying he's a leader. He seems far too nice and quiet to sort this mess out. It really could ruin his reputation. He seems far more suited to being a coach than a manager. I think it could be the worst thing we could do to him professionally. This bunch of clowns need a strong leader. They had Van Nistelrooy and downed tools when he slagged off their professionalism; they ain't going to listen to Andy King. 20 1
Popular Post StanSP Posted 29 November 2025 Popular Post Posted 29 November 2025 Lost the dressing room hasn't he. Regardless of tactics he's regressed us further. 6

Either way we’re shite at doing both.

I think it was more of a reaction to those saying we can't get rid of Marti because can't afford to sack him. Therefore, just give it to Kingy as he can't do any worse than this shitshow. 1

He wouldn’t come back but we wouldn’t want him back. He’s in a league like the Scottish Premier League and he’s got Brondby exactly where they usually are. 3rd. 1
Gamble92 Posted 29 November 2025 Posted 29 November 2025 The funny thing is the only thing saving us from Russell Martin is the fact there's no way he'd come back into management with us. We'll sack Marti tonight, give it King for a couple of games and hope he does okay enough to offer him a Nigel Worthington type deal until end of the season. You just know Top got a servant to turn his dodgy fire stick off in Bangkok at 2-0. It's just the worst.

If the slow pissing around is his call, get rid. If they aren’t listening to him, which they aren’t as this is all coming from JV. We need someone strong enough to bin the twat.

Yeah and all the idiots at the time on FT saying things like ‘I hope that we don’t ease off when we get 6 or 7 ahead’. We didn’t even win that game with any conviction. Marti’s clearly got to go and the incoming manager needs to clear out the deadwood (& be backed to do so). I cannot recall a home game this season where we ran out comfortable/deserved winners.

Yeah, but it's already an absolute disaster and there's at least a chance it might be less of one with him. It almost literally couldn't get any worse. Plus we all like him.
Saxondale Posted 29 November 2025 Posted 29 November 2025 I feel like he’s a lost cause now. That said, who the frig would we get in instead? There’s nobody who’s realistically going to take the job.
martyn Posted 29 November 2025 Posted 29 November 2025 Cifuentes may not be the guy, but ultimately we're now reaping what we've sown for several years of abject misdirection off the pitch. At some point we have to stick with a manager as this is going to be a long term rebuild. 4

Lesta2014 Posted 29 November 2025 Posted 29 November 2025 We won’t sack him will we? Be like Brendan waiting until it’s too late.
markko Posted 29 November 2025 Posted 29 November 2025 We can't keep sacking managers. It costs money. Not healthy to keep having different people at the helm. Look how well we did when we sacked Cooper last season. Nothing ng changes until we have got rid of the dead wood. That will start in the summer.
les-tah Posted 29 November 2025 Posted 29 November 2025 There is a few rumours circulating from the inside hes sacked but im insure atm

But you have already said what this shower do when faced with hard truths/discipline. Not quite sure what type of personality they need, but I somehow doubt our primadonna’s would cope with a hard man type.

Forward 3 yrs were still playing the same players. He’s part of the problem but not even half of it . But we’ve never played the Enzo system (boring though it was) since he left. All three managers have had a ten but not two eights. I can’t understand why Cooper didn’t just run with it at the start. The worrying thing is that all three think that they are playing that way!
