You need good players being subbed for good players to make a confident squad, not 2nd string players only getting on because the 1st choice are poor. Pressure on players all round doesn't turn the form around....Managers get paid to understand this.

So you would persist with Thomas, Ayew, Daka, Carranza, Faes, Okoli etc ahead of the academy players because we dont want to put to much pressure on the first team.

We need to rebuild the squad this season, it's not about results, a lot of players have simply overstayed their welcome.
