I see your point.

He seems to be suffering from what quite a few modern day managers are at the moment.  The inability to learn from mistakes  and that they are all stubbonly wedded to a philosophy or style of play and won't entertain the thought of deviating from it.

But I'd settle for the personal change for a start.   No Wout Garfunkel brain farts, Thomas being bullied, light Jogging sessions from Soumare and Ayew devising more creative ways of falling over, killing any attacking intent in the pursuit of a free kick. It can't do any harm.

I can’t stand watching Thomas and Ayew play.  Their default is to stink it out. Ayew summed it up when he went into the 10 role but kept occupying the left wing, held onto the ball for too long when Faes was open.  He then does it again instantly.

A half decent manager would stop these bad habits or get rid, not nice guy Marti.

It’s frustrating seeing us get undone by simple wing play and overlaps, yet we never do this.

He's turning Monga into Mavadidi & Ayew.

If Ramsay is injured then play Daka and Carranza in a 4-4-2

Absoultely stoppable on their day.

Dave Nugent's just signed a player contract at Anstey Nomads, he'd genuinely have more goal threat than those two

You wanna play Ayew up front then?

Do you think the manager will pick Evans or Hutchinson?

No I don't want any of them :D Devil's advocate though, Ayew can at least hold the ball up to bring other people into play - like with Ramsey's goal the other night.  Carranza and Daka have zero uses.

They remind me of playing Kevin Tom's Football manager game in the 80s and when your 5* strikers are unavailable you suddenly realise all you have are the two 1* losers you inherited at the start of the game.

Would have been nice to have a CF in the right spot for Ramseys early cross yesterday. Because Ramsey was wide Ayew dropped to the 10 position instead of putting himself in a position to take advantage of a great cross.

Would actually rather we played a CF. None of them are doing anything great, but when we need results I hate playing this false 9 bollox.

100%

Personally I've have been playing Evans, even if it's Ayew in behind him, he's literally the only out & out striker we have at the club and the rate we're going we'll need assets. He needs time and games but knowing this club we'll loan him to Forest Green in January.

Monga has been better than Ayew and Mavididi so not sure how you can say he is way off being better. He has been our best choice at left wing this season.

Even if he wasnt better he is 16, they are 34 and 27. He is allowed to perform at this level because this is just one step for him on the path to improvement, the alternatives to him arent going to get better, therefore their performances are more unacceptable e even if they perform to the same level.

Can see your point, im not an Ayew fan, but he has weighed in with a few goals. And yep Monga is exciting but he's a bit form without substance in the last few games i've seen at the KP.

We're in a serious mess.

I can't name a starting 11 that i'd be happy with. I don't think there's a single player outside of Jordan James that doesn't have a really big question mark next to their name at the minute and even with him I think there's a fitness concern.

I would rather play the underperforming Mavididi to try and get him back into form and let Monga impact games off the bench.

I don't think Monga has impressed much when starting but that's to be expected with someone his age.

Need to find an excuse to not go...

Any ideas?

1. Shave your balls with a rusty bic.

2. Eat your own arse.

3. Have a wank using sandpaper.

All far more enjoyable than watching LCFC right now.

Ayew has the same number of goals and assists as Monga.

It saddens me that as a fanbase we hold our academy players to a higher standard than our senior ones. Monga's performances in recent weeks, which have been uneventful by his standards, are the average game for our experienced players like Ayew and Reid.

We need to give Monga at a minimum the same amount of patience that Ayew and Reid have received, sadly it seems that he has already been deemed not ready after 500 minutes whereas he has been no worse than Ayew and Reid who have racked up 3000 minutes for us.

Mavididi has better defensive work rate and off the ball movement. Monga is better at taking his man on but lacks in the other two departments.

Monga has certainly been more threatening than Mavididi this season but i dont mind Mavididi starting. Not a fan of fans blaming recent results on Monga starting though, he hasnt been impressive but he hasnt been bad either, there are worse offenders that are supposed to be far more experienced and are also better paid. Monga's form is acceptable because he is learning, the others are supposed to be in their prime years and are no better.

I remember when we had an injury crisis up front and Steve Walsh was pressed into service as a forward and scored 7 in 7 if memory serves.

Since we have no striker worthy of the name, I reckon we should stick Wout up front.  He's no Walshie but is  at least aggressive and would bamboozle defenders with his eccentricity.   It would have the added benefit of making his defensive howlers a lot less likely.

The more I think about it, the more I think it is worth a try.

Let's see some width and rotation out wide, we know the wingers can score and our strikers can't. So we should try and get them in better goalscoring positions. Our conventional fullbacks offer nothing aside from Pereira so we might as well try WBs

Is there anyone that can genuinely say they enjoy watching our games, whether it be in the stadium or on TV? I can't remember the last time I actually had a decent period where I enjoyed our matches and looked forward to them. I'd always ensure I could watch all our games and move shifts at work, make sure we didn't have family engagements when our games were on but now I don't care if I'm working when we're playing. I feel better when I don't watch us. Even in games we've won this season, the performances are so drab and uninspiring that I just can't really enjoy them.

What was once a really enjoyable huge part of my life, watching LCFC, has now become a chore.

i kinda like that formation and team tbh

in possession ricky p and aluko further up the pitch to make it more like a 4 man midfield and them bombing on too, fats and mav the option to either come inside or out

personally see alot more flexibility in that team and formation atm

certainly what Id go for on Saturday tbf

but lets face it, luke sodding thomas will be playing AGAIN
