cityfanlee23 Posted 26 December 2025 Posted 26 December 2025 We are in desperation territory. Now isn’t the time to find the “right man” to come in, that’s a summer project. Right now what this club needs is a firefighter with some common sense who can come in, tell the board how it is, and do the basics. I genuinely now want Neil Warnock until the end of the season. I’ve always liked him as a character but now I genuinely want him to come into the club and try to sort this lot out and stop us being in a relegation fight. 1

lcfc sheff Posted 26 December 2025 Posted 26 December 2025 Biggest problem with this is I struggle to be inspired by any suggestion I’ve seen!
Gazza M Posted 26 December 2025 Posted 26 December 2025 Interim until the summer. Needs to be an experienced manager and not afraid to upset people. Someone who could potentially move upstairs at end of tenure and stay within new structure.

Sadly the only Mowbray Rudkin knows is Melton because of the Xmas Pork Pie he orders. 1
Trav Le Bleu Posted 31 December 2025 Posted 31 December 2025 Wilfred Nancy. Not saying I'd want him, just that it's realistic.
teblin Posted 2 January Posted 2 January This is what I think the club will do. Give it to King until the end of the season and bring in another legend/explayer to work with him to try and get the club behind him/them.

Sly Posted 2 January Posted 2 January I don’t think they’ll get rid of Cifuentes, as he’ll likely keep picking up points to keep him in a job. This is some of the most disconnected football we’ve ever seen though. 1
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 2 January Posted 2 January We all know that he won’t spend money on a replacement so we’re relying on a managerial casualty elsewhere or someone currently out of work. Welcome Gary Rowatt.
Stadt Posted 2 January Posted 2 January Our managerial recruitment just gets lazier. When Cifuentes finally gets the boot I don’t even think we can’t temp GON or Martin it will be a Wasserman client. Gerrard would be about the best we could hope for, Rowett probably much more realistic. Imagine after winning the FA Cup positing that Gary Rowett could be our manager not even 5 years later. 2
