Also could trust him to him advise and sort other issues in the club. I don’t imagine Pearson would have many interactions with Rudkin, partly due to Rudkin being moved “ upstairs”. The technical director would report to Rudkin and the manager to the technical director..

I'm putting it out there. I don't know what he's like as a manager and pass no comment. Might be a decent shout. Angry scotsman with history of promotion in the football league. Looking at his record he doesn't stay anywhere long so needs a short contract to avoid a big payoff when the inevitable fall-out comes.

That lot would have run through walls for Pearson. now they can hardly break into a walk for the manager. 1
Popular Post RoboFox Posted 26 January Popular Post Posted 26 January (edited) Pearson isn't coming back people. Don't even do it to yourselves. You think Rudkin and Aiyawatt have enough about them to make a decision like this? You're dealing with some of the thickest people in the footballing world. They haven't got the wherewithal or the nous to do something that would be this poplular with the fanbase. Edited 26 January by RoboFox 5

Jazzy_Jeff Posted 26 January Posted 26 January I wouldn’t be against Graham Alexander, looks to have done well wherever he has been. Would definitely put a rocket up a few of them. 1

I don’t think Newport was his first choice to get back to the UK but he’s doing it the right way and having an effect. Right mentality too 1

Aleksz Posted 26 January Posted 26 January Could imagine Top wanting Pearson back as he's out of ideas and desperate, Would imagine Pearson see's right through Rudkin at this point, as will many that we give a phone call to.

The football tactics side does change and not all managers can adapt. That being said, yes it is a pipedream as he would be too much of a challenge to JR. It is clear that Rudkin has outgrown his role at LCFC and is in desperate need of a promotion to King Power, hopefully Top realises this. That is a very nice way of putting it
