Cropwellfox Posted 31 January Posted 31 January Nobody other than a journeyman will want to come into this shit hole. Rowett best we can do
Popular Post Claudio Fannieri Posted 31 January Popular Post Posted 31 January Top and Rudkin need to swallow their pride get on the phone to Pearson tonight and offer him the keys to Seagrave get him in as Manager to the end of the season, then let him take on the TD role reporting direct to Top and get him to identify the next manager in the summer. 6

Muzzy_no7 Posted 31 January Posted 31 January Stop faffing and get Rowett in. His staff are all ready too. 1
winteriscoming Posted 31 January Author Posted 31 January I’d go for Skubala for the rebuild. I just don’t think he’d want it and he’s better off where he is. Says it all when Rowett is the only option who realistically would want it. 1
Popular Post Rubbersoul Posted 31 January Popular Post Posted 31 January I’d be happy with Rowett now. We are bang in a relegation scrap and he’s got the experience. 5
Popular Post moseeds Posted 31 January Popular Post Posted 31 January Does the team really need a manager? At this point I'd be happy if the club announce they've appointed ChatGPT as first team coach. They cant't play any worse. 5

The fact they would rather bring in bang average muck like Coleman or Rowett says all you need to know. This is all about appointing yes men who won’t rock the boat or question their cosy little relationship and the status quo will continue:

apollo4joe Posted 31 January Posted 31 January (edited) No manager without any serious baggage and a bang avergae record would come here at this moment. Why would they? There is no 'rebuild' coming in the summer, we have no money and there absolutley nothing to suggest we wont fail psr again this year be under some sort of transfer embrago come July. Even if we aren't, we wont spending millions it will mainly be free transfers put in with academy players. Why would get a decent technial director too? We cant choose a decent manager so why would we choose a decent technical director? And even if we did he still has to operate under the structure and culture of King Power which is dragging us toward league one anyway. Edited 31 January by apollo4joe
kingfox Posted 31 January Posted 31 January Starting to enter the Rowett camp myself. We need someone who can solidify a defence, at most clubs he’s been at, his goals against numbers have usually been decent. If he can also bring some grit and fight, then I’d be content with him, but only on a short term contract. 3
cruzFOX Posted 31 January Posted 31 January As a club we have to swallow our pride and appoint a manager that can just keep us in this division. As ugly as it will be (and it already is) we just need points some how. 2
Ian Nacho Posted 31 January Posted 31 January Unless we get someone in by about Wednesday it'll be Kingy again for Birmingham. Got no confidence they'll get something sorted quickly. 1

Craig Posted 31 January Posted 31 January They never learn. They always leave things well beyond what is acceptable, and then have zero plan except to dither about and hope for the best. 1
teblin Posted 31 January Posted 31 January Rowett until the end of the season for me. I know he’s been sacked by Oxford but in general he’s been decent at this level. Not a perfect I know but it’s where we are.
Nolucklcfc Posted 31 January Posted 31 January West Brom are going to be in the same situation very soon with their manager.
