Eugh, trying to be realistic here, if we managed to get Enzo in our current position it's a huge coup.
If it's a multi year deal and he actually wants to stay here to rebuild, then I think we have to snap his arm off to save the club. The recruitment would no doubt massively improve and we could probably trust him with the limited funds we have at this level, the funds themselves would limit his capacity to spend big.

But by god I am not looking forward to sideways ball again, especially with a squad so devoid of direction, talent and attitude. This is a very different squad to the one he left.
He's the absolute best we could do in terms of an immediate solution, but I just cannot get excited by the idea of watching his football again.

The Mirror story says we’ve only approached him to take over for the rest of the season, not permanently. And even the interim gig seems very unlikely.

Yeah I cannot see it happening personally. I'm not sure I want it to happen, but if it did i've no doubt it's a better position than we sit in this morning. Huge risk for him, but if he did come in and immediately turn us around, that would give him a huge boost for his next role in the summer which could easily be a team like Spurs.

To be fair, those two probably don't know anything about this Enzo stuff. They can't control the Twittering.

Whilst you’re probably right, I genuinely don’t want to be fair to them. They’ve caused this whole shit show and they could stop the twittering stone dead by coming out and denying it. I’m not giving them an inch, they don’t deserve it.

I’m waiting for the Percy bomb today.

Percy bomb -

Rudkin has found his spoon for the custard. Rumours are he lost it before the second half yesterday and Top and Rudkin spent the second half looking for it.

The Enzo doesn’t piss me off because it’s a stupid owner who is showing his cluelessness but also the inept team around him that he continues to reward. It’s well known that Top is stupid and Rudkin is no better.

It infuriates me that this prime example

of why so many fans will celebrate when he leaves and takes his lover with him.

Lucrative offer to Enzo ? Ok, put aside whether that is at all a good financial decision. IF we are willing to splash the cash to bring a high calibre manager, a proper leader and DOF would sit there and say, who are we backing for a 5 year plan. Take that lucrative offer and say, we could probably pay compensation for a Robins for example. Like a properly ran business, you’re backing a horse to rebuild the football team you and your lover have decimated.

This is why the grass is Greener post Aiyawatt. Why he absolutely needs to go. What he is doing to his fathers businesses and the risk he is putting his family in says a lot about him

we should just get Pearson

I don't think he's the option for manager, by all means he is someone we should have in the club to build the structure we need. But I'm unsure he's the answer to the on field issues right now.

They don't deserve it, you're right. However, the club has always gone into radio silence regarding recruitment, even during the Vichai era.

Pearson for one last dance until the end of the season with Kingy as assistant makes so much sense.

Shame how it ended before means it’ll never happen.

Doesn’t make it right though does it 😕 It’s not just a company owning a football club, it’s a dictatorship and we all have to stay in line if we want access to our own club.

It's going to be Javi Gracia, isn't it?

Would be a sound appointment till the end of the season.

Anyone who says otherwise has their head in the sand.

The timing of the Watford resignation is certainly interesting. But why would he want to leave there and come here?

I don't think Gracia is especially good at this, but he's broadly adequate and seems to be a decent man manager. As a temporary hire you could certainly do worse.
