I’m not sure I’d want Marinakis, but 5mil compo, plus another 5mil for the new guy ( rinse repeat) is small change and excellent value when it’s his ego at stake, it’s also cultural Thais are behind the scenes and private the Crazy Fat Greek does not give a flying fu@k. If you knew damn well you didn't have a competent replacement lined up, why sack him? Let Marti sort his mess out rather than setting Andy King up for failure. Triple signing, maybe? want to announce the ‘ new team’ all at once? or like you say, could just be incompetence!

winteriscoming Posted 13 February Author Posted 13 February It really shouldn’t be this difficult even though we’re a complete mess to get someone in until the end of the season.
RedSoxUK Posted 13 February Posted 13 February Just seen Dyche in the new Ashby Lidl, asked him if his friend Rudkin has been in touch and he told me to **** off. 3
KansasFox Posted 13 February Posted 13 February Maybe they think they rushed the previous decisions and so what to take their time to get this one right 🤣🤣

This has got to stop 2
Chrysalis Posted 13 February Posted 13 February (edited) Its obvious at this point like previous sackings its another on the spot sacking of emotion without planning ahead. If Marti was to be sacked the new guy should be in place within a few days. Edited 13 February by Chrysalis 2
Lichfieldfox. Posted 13 February Posted 13 February I'm guessing a few potential candidates won't fancy a short contract or one with a relegation clause. Stating the obvious but we really need a manager who can keep us up and hopefully also help rebuild the team & culture. Few managers have both skills, even if they do the board needs to function effectively to support this. Worrying times. I'm not a fan of Dyche but I think he's a good fit for us now. 4

Club find new ways to become a parody of themselves weekly. Sheer, utter incompetence of the highest order. Once again they complacently planned for Kingy to get quick results so they wouldn’t have to react. Not that they’ll have told him that either of course.
LCFCJohn Posted 13 February Posted 13 February My top 3, if looking at those who would likely be a good fit for what we need and not completely unrealistic would be Pearson, Smith or Dyche. Any of them probably give us the best chance possible. 2

supernuk Posted 13 February Posted 13 February Just let me know when Dyche is in. Only slim chance we have of staying up. 2
Unabomber Posted 13 February Posted 13 February I can take or leave Pearson but it’d sure be interesting if the god came home 2
whoareyaaa Posted 13 February Posted 13 February Top needs Pearson to save his dads legacy whether he realises that is another matter 4

Popular Post Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 13 February Popular Post Posted 13 February (edited) Pearson is pretty much the only person who would get everyone on board and behind him and the players straight away. Time is something we don’t have. The next 14 games is about going bust in my view - it’s that serious. As much as we need to get a tune out of the players, we also need an appointment that’s going to get the crowd back. Pearson would do that imo, and is worth a punt. Pearson would run this club better than Rudkin and Top combined. Whether its manager or DOF we need him back asap or we are going down Edited 13 February by whoareyaaa 5

Just beyond me how thousands of people can see this is an existential problem ahead of us and the decision makers are seemingly oblivious to it. Mind boggling 2
Unabomber Posted 13 February Posted 13 February There’s still some out there who don’t rate Pearson. Prob all KPFC fans
