Martin got married at the weekend apparently.

A 2 week honeymoon in the Maldives balls deep in Lucy Pinder twice a day, or a 3 month stint at the KP trying to induce more than a jog out of Jordan Ayew. Tough choice!

I don’t mind looking after Lucy if he wants to come for a couple of weeks?

Of course, Pliskin and DAS Boot could both be right! A prospective Manager turned us down ..... AND we pulled out of a deal for another Manager.

I wouldn't be surprised if Skibala turned us down (for the reasons listed earlier) and KP pulled out a prospective deal for Martin, because they couldn't face the expected (and completely understandable) backlash from fans!

Thats it.

I agree, its all speculation, none of us poor punters have a clue what's going on - that's another huge criticism of the crowd that's (supposedly) running our club. We have to rely on ITK's (of doubtful reliability), dodgy media reports and bookies odds - its all we've got and so becomes our daily 'bread & butter'. We guess and make assumptions, which could be spot on, or totally wide of the mark. Oh, to follow a club that leaks like a sieve!

One thing to ask.... Why on earth would any decent credible manager come to Leicester?

14 games to get 6+ wins, with this group, and, a short term contract that they won't get a payout from.

The only answers I can think of would be a love of Leicester City or just doing it to avoid boredom! ...no credible manager would touch this job surely!?

Can I be one of the the blokes who just sits on the bench during a game doing nothing except chewing gum and occasionally nodding in agreement with the manager? Or the bloke who hands out the drinks bottles or one of the blokes who just watches the game on a monitor and occasionally points at the screen? In fact I could do all of those jobs at the same time.

I'm good at writing in a little notepad.

And have very small hands...

Honestly.

I was suggesting long walks where’s it’s quiet and dry and talk about precious things. Play cards, watch re-runs of friends and knit.

Forest and Spurs have sorted things out in a few days. Absolutely no indication what the plan is but at the very least King needs some help.

I genuinely believe they're going with King until the end of the season. The fact there isn't even a rumour from the press suggests to me they aren't actually doing anything.

So frustrating

Kingy has said he doesn't want the job.

However, if Top and Jon don't appoint anyone (and I don't believe they intend to) then Kingy has to keep on going until 1 of 3 things happens.

1) He leads us to safety- which we know won't happen.

2) Kingy can't save us and we're relegated and Kingy is the public face of our relegation and therefore the scapegoat. This is already happening btw.

3) Kingy clocks what's happening here and walks away.....he then becomes the club legend who walked away when the club was at its most desperate - and guess what....he becomes the scapegoat anyway.

I am convinced this isn't all total incompetence. It's also deeply, deeply cynical from the two parasites that 'run' this club.

I think Kingy stepped up because he loves the club and his intentions are good. I don't think his employers share those good intentions. There's levels to the extent he's been thrown under the bus here.

I dont think any real fan with a brain can really blame king for any of this

No, but @Tielemans63 is saying is the club have put him in a position where can be made the scale goat. I don't think any fan would question Kingy if he walks away, he'll be doing it because he thinks it's what is best for the club and leaves Rudkin and Top no where to go.

Kingy would have my backing if he walks.

There's still fans who are behind KP. Brainpower isn't a strength of some of our fans.

There's a nice symmetry between RVN's situation towards the end of last season and King's now. Then, RVN was saying every week that he wanted to lead the rebuild and was seeking reassurances to that effect, but the club was refusing to even speak to him about it. It was obvious they had no intention of keeping him on, but nobody could be bothered to tell him.

Now, Andy King is saying every week that he’s just an interim and doesn’t even want the job full-time, but again the club is remaining silent. It’s obvious they want him to continue, but nobody can be bothered to tell him.

Two managers, both really struggling with a toxic squad. One wants the job but isn’t wanted by the club. The other doesn’t want the job but is wanted by the club. How does the club handle both situations? By refusing to speak to them and hoping the whole thing somehow blows over.

Rudkin and Top's stance....

Not sure if it’s a nice symmetry 😂 but take the point!
