Just give it Hugh Laurie until the end of the season, he’s used to walking into and right back out of a shitshow.

Does this House need a diagnostician or just a surgeon? :P

We only just managed to sack the last manager! What makes anyone think we can afford to sack this one too?

One thing is for sure, Marti isn't stupid enough to pay a portion his own compensation for a second time. So like it or not, we are stuck with him, and this topic is borderline pointless.

This thread is pointless imo.  Does not matter who the manager is as the squad is so poor.  We have forwards that have managed an incredible 1 goal between then so far.  We have defenders who look like they have never met each other.  Don't get me started on Luke getting a 4 year deal .  You can only manage who you have.   Not buying a decent striker out of all the money we got from transfers shows that we either do not have a pot to p.ss In or that its a recoup what kp can before sailing off.  I know there are other threads to post in but this covers several things....top needs to go as he is not up for it.  We need a total reset.  Getting into the play offs and sporning promotion would be the worst thing for us as we would be an embarrassment under the current higher leadership....not the manager,

I didn’t see evidence the players are not playing for him. In the contrary they are

trying down to the final whistle BUT something is not right. It’s probably a combination of things that only the manager can fix. Seema like every week it’s back to the drawing board. How can the coaches between them not figure it out?

maybe the spirit or vibe is not right at the club from the top down. Does Top even come visit the players training and talk to them. I miss Vichai and the old dream team behind the scenes so much 😔

He fell out / didn't see eye-to-eye with a lot of the lard arse players that are still here.

All the more reason we should have kept him and got rid of these lard arse players.

Please, just anybody who isn't obsessed with pointless sterile boring possession football.

The best guy available, we left it for Forest to grab.

Cant think of anyone else now, its either has been's, or tippy tappy supposedly modern managers.

Its assured one day Top will employ Rooney, I can see Russell getting a chance here as well.  We need Top out, first and foremost.

This is 2004-2008 years, although I think it'll take far less than 4 years for us to be relegated and the back of Aiyawatt.

If you could offer me administration right now and it meant new ownership I'd snap your hand off. It's the only way we get systematic change off the field is if the ownership changes.

Yep - I'd caveat my wanting Cifuentes out here by saying if you offered me a locked in Cifuentes deal until 2030 but it gets rid of Aiyawatt/Rudkin I'd take it. They're pure poison.

Starting to think we should've stuck with Ruud! I know.....

I don't think we'd be doing any worse and he was terrible. He at least showed some sort of signs of freezing out the piss takers - meanwhile Cifuentes has appeased them.

I really don’t think it will happen as it would be the 3rd manager to be fired in 50 league games. However if it did happen my choices would be from either Tony Mowbray or Craig Bellamy (if he would take the role) or Kingy with an experienced Assistant.

Now look at him, would hardly be a shock to see another manger get back to back promotions.

Nothing wrong with the manager !
Have you drawn the dots yet ?
We’ll give you another 5 seasons of losing 70M per season and pure incompetent running of the club and we’ll see if the penny drops then !!!
Goodness me, some of you, dear oh dear ! This is not hard to work out !

Some of the players can be shit and the manager can be shit too. It is possible.

He’s a mid table manager. Done nothing in his career to suggest otherwise.

Michael Carrick would be my top pick think he would be the best option we could get atm, otherwise could see us going for someone Michael Skubala who has Leicesterhire links.

I would definitely consider him, alongside Mowbray and Bellamy.

I do like the idea of a rebuild under those who learned their trade from Pearson.

I’d definitely take Wellens with King as assistant. Others like Bruno Berner have a number of years of coaching and management also. As in coach not manager.

But it would probably need Nigel involved somewhere and I don’t see Aiyawatt/Rudkin allowing anything that will further expose them.

Won’t make a scrap of difference if the same regime continues !

It’s time for them to look for a buyer who can put the club’s best interests at heart

KING POWER OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!

If Tony Mowbray’s health is now OK he’d be perfect for us… No nonsense, down to earth lovely bloke with an edge of steel… NP’s older brother vibe, fan bases generally love him

Yet Maresca got us promoted under this regime?

King Power Out too but you talk as if it’s impossible for us to have a good manager.
