Isn’t that the opposite of what required? If we were to change manager it would need to be someone who has done it before, would brook no dissent from the team as they have the demonstrable experience to achieve promotion from a troubled position. You could quote Enzo of course, but I doubt lightening would strike twice on this.
Apollo04 Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 I doubt we will sack him yet, but its inevitable and as always the replacement will be someone out of work, desperate and linked to an agency who produce a good power point. 1
Paninistickers Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 I swear to god, if you gave me three professional coaches who could organise training and a fitness // conditioning dude, I could pick more competitive starting xis and better substitutions than Cooper, the Dutchman and now, sadly, Cifuentues. And I reckon a good 15% of the posters on FT could too. 1 1
phoneticerror Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 Whoever comes in next needs to sort the bad attitudes and awful culture out first and foremost.
kingfox Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 After the summer, I’m officially done with hipster names like Will Still. We need a culture shift, there’s only one man for that… 4
lcfc sheff Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 We simply do not have the money, it is more than likely going to be a continuation of Marti till something really really bad happens, and then it’ll be Andy King taking over
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 25 October 2025 Popular Post Posted 25 October 2025 This is 2004-2008 years, although I think it'll take far less than 4 years for us to be relegated and the back of Aiyawatt. If you could offer me administration right now and it meant new ownership I'd snap your hand off. It's the only way we get systematic change off the field is if the ownership changes. 6

Paninistickers Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 All you have to do is get lucky. Forest did with Cooper then Nuno. We did with Pearson and Ranieri. There's absolutely no way Mandaric gave Pearson a 'project'. He just got the job as a pro manager (and then sacked to window dress the sale with de Sousa) . Ranieri appointment was from the same school of thought as appointing the Dutchman. Rudkin and Top are due a fluke.
CarolinaFox Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 Ange Ball here we come...just kidding. Maybe?
cityfanlee23 Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 Urs Fischer Adi Hutter (0.2% chance) Ralph Hassenhuttl Michael Carrick (meh) Carlos Carvalhal (would take but meh)

Ian Nacho Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 I'd like some unheard of Serbian bloke who would whip them into shape.

Carlos Carvahal Michael Carrick Should look abroad but won’t. All readily available. Adi Hutter - very unlikely. Diego Martinez Martin Demichelis Paolo Vanoli Bo Svensson I don’t want Martin, Carrick or O’Neil but I think it’ll be one of them. Of course Ralph is top of the list agent Ralph 1

O'Neil was on Sky on Monday saying the most important thing he looks at when he considers a club is their recruitment policy, as it's key to a manager's success. He's not coming here.

Corky Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 Don't we basically run the club through agents? It won't be anyone interesting.
Tommy G Posted 25 October 2025 Posted 25 October 2025 We could appoint Alan Carr and he’d do a job - at least it would be flamboyant
