If you don't believe me, believe Sheffield United where Hamza was one of their main men and Luke Thomas was on the first bus home seagrave

Fox85 Posted 25 November 2025 Posted 25 November 2025 Can see a very slow progression game with extremely slow build up and no real attacking intent. Saints 4 - Leicester 1 1

Suzie the Fox Posted 25 November 2025 Posted 25 November 2025 Exciting line-up. Gg Marti. Looking forward to this

Can't expect too much offesnsively from him today against a team that scored a lot at the weekend. They will be targeting him for sure. That isnt changing today That will only happen when we have uninjured alternatives. I’m hoping he will have the belief, confidence and arrogance of youth that Monga had in those first few games. Until Marti stunk him out. No better place for him to learn from his mistakes.

In fairness (and its a stretch) Skipp was Ok (average) against Stoke, and played a very nice pass for the 2nd goal. Whether he can do that for 2 games in a row, im not sure.
HitchinFox Posted 25 November 2025 Posted 25 November 2025 I couldn't remember who was in goal for them in that 9-0 game (answer: Angus Gunn), so googled it. I hadn't realised that the game had its own Wikipedia page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southampton_F.C._0–9_Leicester_City_F.C. 2

David Hankey Posted 25 November 2025 Posted 25 November 2025 The one thing which is certain about tonight's match is they will be no repeat of the 0-9 victory. 1

Apart from the pass he didn't do much else we can't allow OK (average) to warrant a starting place. plus it holds us back from being any kind of threat to the opposition.
