Give skipp a run in the team been very good today along with James now and keep winks and Faes out . Good result and some lovely first half football . That will be a good confidence boost for us hopefully. Nice to not relay on fatawu trying to put it in the top corner for a change as well

I admit I got it wrong in the past when ive claimed he has lost the dressing room.

They are still very much with him it seems, some great effort and fight out there today.

Second half not a great watch but what a way to start the day, genuinely makes such a difference to my overall weekend when we win!!

Really impressed with the central midfield. Skipp has really impressed me. Getting stuck in, covering for defenders if they go forward, and passing the ball forwards. Winks does nothing like that. James pushes the game forwards, gives everything and gets in the box at the right times. They complement each other well.

Made such a difference to the team. Just bin Winks off now.

Skipp's clearly a confidence player. I've been so impressed with him the last few games. I really didn't think he had this in him.

Delighted with that, superb first half and some really good individual performances. I felt the manager got the subs spot on as well especially Hamza when we needed him.

I've given um some stick (and deservedly so) but that was a good performance and important result. We showed some grit and determination today

And great to see so many academy players get involved. A lot of good performances. But shout outs for Nelson, JJ, Oliver Skipp. All of them excellent

Very positive performance.  First half we were unplayable with great speed.  Second was a good test defensively.  It’s no surprise they came out with a bit of fight and pressure same as us last week but we handled it pretty well. A good test second half hopefully we carry it on.  Skipp and James the standouts but also good from Bobby first half.

Struggled a bit in the second half but hung on well :appl:

Must build on that first half where I’m sure getting the ball forward quickly made all the difference. Struggle to think of anyone who had a bad game. All round impressive.

Across the 90 it was an okay performance, improved on the last 6-7 weeks. This should be the minimum though we really haven't looked like a top 6 team today overall.
Need another 5-6 performances where this is the absolute minimum standard before I would consider wanting MC to get more time.

Have you seen the teams in the top 6?

Three very valuable points. After a brilliant first half Cifuentes’ inherent negativity made the second far too nerve racking for my liking. We had them on the rack yet ended up hanging on for dear life because of the tactics and subs. Ultimately it worked but it is a concern going forward. We still haven’t seen two good halves in any game under this manager.

Take the win though…

Get a few more players with James energy and quality which is hard to do I know , we could build a good team around him as he always gives it all and looks like he cares

Hamza and Silko?

Silko Thomas more  quality from the Academy set up it’s looking good for us with Silko, Monga, Evans, Aluko making 1st team appearances and showing they can compete with real quality performances, Silko looked a handful on the wing and the league is looking really close where a couple of wins for us a slip up or 2 for the ones above us we can certainly climb the table with a few wins strung together pick up another 3 points Wednesday night & hopefully the others above us drop points !

First half was brilliant attack wise.

second half was stinky all over.

Poor in game management from Marti.  He allowed tired players to get away with not making any effort and let the defence take over with their slow “control” yet causing more issues.

It’s sad to see Ricardo being so poor in defender and boring in attack.

We really need an attacking coach to get these players to make better and quicker decisions.

Really good turn around from Skipp.  When playing with tempo they all make way less mistakes and unforced errors.

JJ and Skipp had such a high level of effort and impact today.

Great result....... well deserved too... should of been 4-1 if that incompetent lino didnt make a major mistake :scarf:

Now please I want a Florist loss and then happy weekend for me!

Only only regret is that Ayew one not being allowed or us adding another before half time because it could have been something ridiculous then.

We have had more than enough 4- something wins over them in memory. Can't be greedy.

Feels so good to be ****ing proud of that team out there again. I really hope this represents a turning point in getting Winks and Faes out now.

Great first half and the 2nd lot of substitutions effectively killed Derby off as a threat. Would've been annoying if they'd pulled it back, given there was nothing wrong with Ayew's goal.

Skipp, James and Nelson will get plenty of credit and rightly so, but I thought Luke Thomas was fantastic today. His best performance since he pocketed Salah. Brilliant deliveries in the first half and defensively didn’t put a foot wrong.

all across the board, just the best performance we’ve seen in years, lots of fight, effort, moments of quality. That had to be the standard now.

thought Marti got selection, tactics and substitutions absolutely spot on.

Hamza might be enthusiastic enough but we need more quality unfortunately . Not really seen a lot of silko to be able to judge

First half was like watching a game under Pearson. Quality in every department. Second half they ground it out but still some very questionable game management and subs. Hamza on in the 60th minute and then replacing your best player with a couple of kids when the games still in the balance? Very bizarre

Skipp and James were quality. Nelson looks like a Rolls Royce. No more Winks, Soumare and Faes now. Thats a committed squad we need to go with
