I'm not going cause of the boycott but more due to work, i'm in Cov tomorrow and even though I could make it if I tried, it's not worth the rush or extra expense. So sooner watch at home on tele in the warm.

My thoughts will be with in that difficult time

I'd personally be surprised if there's fewer than 25,000 there tomorrow night. However, if the actual attendance is even lower for the reasons you've mentioned, I'd argue these reasons count as part of the boycott. Were large groups of people missing night games 3 or 4 years ago because of the weather or kids being back at school? Not really. People being prepared to miss games for those reasons is a sign that people are losing interest in going to watch their team because the club is in a bad way. That counts as part if the boycott as far as I'm concern. I'll reiterate though, I'd be surprised if there are more than 6000 empty seats in the home end tomorrow night.

Very true. If the club was well run, we were still in the prem and we were watching a set of players that cared, would the ground be full? Or course it would be.

There’s scarcely been 25k there some weeks anyway. We’ve been far shitter since, people are skint, it’s on a Monday, on tv, first day back at work and there’s the first formal boycott called.

I think it’ll be closer to 20k than 30k.

Hopefully a FOI request goes in for the actual number not the propaganda number.

I don’t have “circles”. My question was reasonable. It didn’t warrant such an obtuse response. If you check back to the many pieces on this subject generally, much of the advice is followed by, “ I stopped going blah blah…….. “.My own little circle of 1, would dearly love to see a big change at the top of my club. Until then, I will carry on supporting whoever wears the shirt on that pitch, but will gladly join in with vocal protests against the hierarchy.

Sometimes change can only be made by protest. I don't believe vocal protests have much effect to be honest. I'm guessing our owner, chairman and CEO will be boycotting the match. Or maybe he will start having an interest once again.

Obviously entirely your choice to turn up but people can boycott in lots of ways. Don't buy a programme, don't go into the club shop don't buy any food for eg.

Imagine  for one night only nobody bought anything in the club shop, a programme, or any food. I think that would be a pretty strong message.

Maybe you don't anyway.

I love this club and supported it for more years than I care to recall but right now there is gross mismanagement going on and change needs to happen and quickly. Either the owners need to sell up or wake up. Hopefully this boycott will be just the start.

As to supporting those on the pitch, fair enough, I don't think you will find many of them care two hoots whether you support them or not. Loyalty to a club and its fan base is pretty much extinct now.

It really doesn’t matter what the club report, it is on telly if there are rafts of empty seats it will be there for all to see

But the cameras are in the east stand pointing at the west stand so all the coach 1 and KPFC brigade area.

That stand will probably still look full.

It still pans to the Kop and Family stands and too be fair even the West Stand has had a fair few empty seats these last few home games

Are WBA boycotting or have they sold their full allocation?

Genuinely can't remember the last time West Brom had the full away end allocation at ours. That's poor given they're only an hour away.

Well done to all involved in raising awareness on this, i've never seen that many seats available to purchase the night before a game.

That's without including those who have correctly not gone down the resale route.
