Given what Kermogant went on to do in the Championship, fantastic bit of scouting and probably paved the way for the Knockaert and Mahrez signings.

That’s one way of looking at it I guess 😂

Plenty of comments from those against the boycott and specifically UFS for the atmosphere. From the TV my takeaways were:

-all the noise appeared to be generated by the WBA fans

-there were audible boos in parts when we made errors or were under the cosh

-the only rendition of any leicester related chant (its not a chant) was "your sh*t ahh"

Ill be honest, i sit in the moderate camp when you have people referring to others has happy clappers, likewise those referring to the boycott or those boycotting as toxic. I think its petty point scoring on either side. What it did highlight to me is the impact and the good that UFS have on our support.

- Away fans sang a bit but they weren’t noisy in the grand scheme of things

- The only boos in SK1 that I remember were for that godawful goal kick routine between Nelson and Jakub, because it was just putting us under huge pressure and we kept losing the ball

- Plenty of chants going on, especially in the first half, from about 50 or so in the singing section. Jordan James, Ayew, Monga all got their songs. Vichai had a dream got an airing, and a bit of Leicester Boys Are We. But by far the most was every Hamza Choudhury song in the book, all game. This led to a spirited argument between the singing section and one bloke who very persistently and angrily kept shouting about how shit he is and telling them to shut up, which of course guaranteed many more Hamza songs at louder volume.

What was interesting was Pipes after the game saying he’d been handed a bit of paper with a confirmed attendance of 12,700

I stand in SK1, unfortunately was at the game (would have boycotted if it wasn't for my son depending on me to get him to/from the game) but all of those songs mentioned sounded completely half assed from where I was stood and never really got any traction. I've seen more atmosphere at wakes. There was indeed a smattering of boos and grumbling at half time and if it wasn't for Abdul's worldie possibly would have been the same at full time.

Well yeah the whole thing was quieter than usual, it was half empty!

I cant fault the boos and grumbling, it's the first time I've been down for a while and **** me the football is bad up close

to be fair he hit hit the  nail on the head there

listen, i am not pro KP far from it and things have to change. Genuinely think were walking into league 1 and administration

but we need to understand what the family have /continue to do for the community

Ha ha, absolutely brilliant 2nd post,  you are on a roll my friend. 😀

But might I suggest an appointment at SpecSavers if you think the pictures on this forum and the televised ones on Sky actually show a crowd of 27000.

OK I humor you.  (Re the maths)

The KP has a capacity of 32,259

@ 3000 for away supporters so that works out at @ 29259 home supporters.

Minus your 27000 that leaves 2259.

Or @ 5259 if you add back in the away supporters number which is probably what they did for this figure of 27k

But even so there weren't just clump of empty seats, there were sizable patches In all the stands (Matt Piper even said it looked no more than 12.5k in attendance)

Now looking at the visual evidence out there in the public domain ( see very bottom of this post) if you think that the amount of empy seats equates to just over 2259 (as we can't see the away numbers) then,

You are (as I originally stated) on a wind up.

Or

You need to book that appointment. 😀

Oh just to point out further,  the  difference we are talking about  with regareds to the home fans is less then the away section, and if you think the empty seats (below) looks to equate to about the same  amount bear in mind the away section is a corner and a bit and is 10% the pic below show one stand that make up part of the remaining 90% and the 3 others were pretty similar Makes Matt Pipers statement of 12.5K  a whole lot more credible......  I'll leave that one with you

Not hard to figure out it was a combination of all with the planned boycott being a big factor in that though is it? Doesn’t take much sense to realise that no?

Nobody is saying every single of those empty seats was people supporting the boycott out of principle but sorry, saying it had no impact is one of the biggest loads of crap written on this forum.

I'm not sure we have lied to be fair, not by much at least, don't we have a basline of about 23-24k ST holders? West Brom looked like they bought a lot, and bang @Bert and pals freeloading the drink and food of course. It's a standard practice to count tickets sold instead of tickets used.

It makes them look stupid trying to seriously suggest they were 27k there regardless anyway lol

lol

I think it’s 21/22k ST’s. West Brom looked like their allocation was 2k for this one though but the would be an extra 1k unsold in the away end. Then add on ticket sales for members and STH guests.

Your delusion is comical, it really is. There were more people at the KP for the Boro snow game all those years ago…… just face the music that the majority of the fan base are now finally getting the message, just a few sheltered fans who can’t seem to pull their head out of Top’s arse.

I know 20 ST holders who all chose to boycott, the group I go with all Boycotted….. there will be a few who didn’t turn out due to the above, but a large number boycotted.

Or didn’t go, because we’re ****ing shit and it’s not really worth it anymore, because the soul of the football club has been ripped out and shat on by its incompetent

Buying a season ticket for the club i love and then stay at home match day, thinking it'll make any difference to anyone other than a few on this forum,  is the very definition of delusional. Why not go on hunger strike too, that'll show em.

Just to say as well, like if Aiyawatt had any intelligence or sound advice, he’d have turned up on Monday night in a show of strength and at the very least galvanising a good 50% of the fanbase, possibly towards 66%
