Bringing on Hamza Choudhury and Jordan Ayew to try and come back from being two nil down is the lowest point this club has been at since it was relegated to League One, it's lowest ever point. Incidentally that was probably the last time we were ever this low down the ladder of English football in January?

Rank.

I think we were briefly around 15th just after Pearson returned in 2012 after a poor run but improved after that.

Expensive, incoherent mess. Sounds familiar.

it being easy to score past us doesn't make him championship standard. bar one game v Portsmouth he was average for Stoke, and he's been generally crap for Sheff Utd.

Agreed but he isn’t crap. We’re also desperate for a CF, he’d of offered us a lot more than what we have right now and tbh, is arguably the type of CF we’re crying out for 🤷‍♂️

Bad day at the office. Maybe we just need to reflect throughout the week, work hard and come back stronger.

I’m watching our game on tv while my gf is watching Liverpool v Leeds on the iPad.

I have just shouted so much at the screen because of Luke Thomas that I think she believes I’m genuinely having some kind of breakdown.

Then she saw the replay of the goal and understood. I then told her we signed him to a new contract in the summer and now she’s nearly as incredulous as me.

Fantastic prediction of Marti’s post match interview.
