It feels like we have thrown away a lot of games this season, so it made me go back on this season check games where we were leading to my shock I seen 6 wins 4 draws and no defeats before today with a half time lead. I think it's those 4 draws Wrexham, Boro, Portsmouth and Bristol City being so bad, make it feel like it happens every time we are leading.

As we were both saying @BigGibbo, it looks like we should have tried to defend our lead from half time

Should have been 3-0 up at HT.

2nd half was a shambles. Giving them an early goal was one thing but it was crying out for a change of shape.

Should have gone 3-5-2 with Vestergaard coming on to give us some control. Was only going to be one winner from the 46th min onwards.

I could only watch patches of the first half but can someone confirm that Nelson & Okoli looked way more comfortable first half?

Second half they both looked like a bombscare

Nelson at fault for first, he's marking Simms. LT is on the goaline.

Aye, doing a cracking job of marking the post but near the centre of the goal

First time in many years, but I actually can’t be arsed. Our owner must be able to see what’s going on and clearly doesn’t give a damn. Nor can I, frankly.

Owning a football club and actually caring about it are different things unless it's your only source of income which is never the case.

Unfortunately he couldn't care less.

I have two mates that own their own businesses and are fully committed to the success and growth of them.

Top has other things that he's committed to. He's not committed to us.

I don’t think we’re too awful going forward

Defending however…

The only thing we have is a decent midfield, Fatawu - Skipp - James - Mavididi is solid enough.

The fact that we don't have anything like a decent 9 or 10 robs us of a spine and a threat, and the fact that we don’t have competent fullbacks costs us games.

Unfortunately we've got gaping holes up front and at the back, and that's why we're mid table.

There's a good case to be made for using Aluko, Page and Silko. When the latter two come on we have some vigour and more direct patterns. Aluko and Monga might have a bit of chemistry as well from. The fact that Marti isn't trusting/risking these players with enough minutes is what's costing us, it's looking like he hasn't got any balls.

Whilst I think today was one of Ricardo’s better performances this season, I do feel that this squad is crying out for two athletic, forward thinking full backs more than anything. It would give us so many more options tactically than we have at the moment.

What we need more than anything is a forward thinking owner and DoF.

I also feel that they have a current fan base that have no idea of their history, no idea who plays for them but are simply jumping on the ‘lampard revolution’ band wagon. Some utterly vile creatures out there today.

An ignorant vocal minority as is the case with every football club.

We have a number of "vile creatures" within our fanbase as well.

In every club, there's those fans that are insightful, those that have responses and opinions based on the events occurring in front of them and others that are just thick knuckle draggers.

Agree with all you say except the fact I don’t think Martí has a choice in who he can start

Yeah this is an interesting one.

Ruud was able to freeze certain players out after a while. So was Marti, but it seems that they have to really take the piss first.

One of the most frustrating things is not having any information about the plan if there is one, or the inner workings of the club.

Years from now I think we'll learn some pretty shocking stuff about this period.

Nelson was ****ing shit. So slow to react to just about everything. Okoli and him are saved from a lot of criticism today because it will mainly be pointed at Thomas but ****ing hell that backline is just awful.

Nelson and Vesty against Derby was much better. Thomas was good that day too. I don't think he should play for us again after today though. I want to see the lad do well but this is just doing no one any good now.

Deffo crying out for a commanding centre half. I really want Okoli and Nelson to gel well but it seems Nelson looks much better with an experienced head next to him ie Vesty.

Both teams were weak defensively and had poor finishing.

We gifted them two second half chances.  Yet apart from they they were poor.

Our first half was good... but then the errors crept in

Same as every other week.

We're the better team. We lack any killer instinct. The opposition realise we're entirely beatable, make some sort of minor change and then batter us.

The centre backs look amateurish every week, but where's the protection?!

We are so naive. So beatable. So pathetic.

I'm not feeling the love Nelson gets on here, really poor today
