When I started watching Leicester in the early 80's we were a bang average, mid table, second tier team - just like now.

The club had no money and little hope back then but the players cared. Despite their limited talent, they worked their nuts off and gave everything for the cause.

That's all I ask of this lot. Just look like you're trying FFS.

One million per cent agree 👍

Honestly just the baseline level of competency in terms of hiring a director of football, manager and board with the same vision and even this set up walks this division.

What you are seeing now is the absolute minimum this shit can produce. And there is so many who are just accustomed to it, okay with it and complicit.

Think we are a year or two away from talking about a phoenix club.

The squad is no way near good enough to walk the division. Regardless of which clown is upstairs

Spot on. Players like Coatsworth epitomise that period for me. They were very limited but as you say they always tried their best and worked hard. I'm not seeing that right now.

Feel for the younger players who have poor role models to look up to and respect.

Think they need a good Psychologist.

(Does the club have one?)

Even if we stay up this year, we are bang in trouble with regards to relegation to league 1 over the next couple of years

Hamza Choudhury is absolutely stealing a living at this football club.

How do you play football every single day for 15 years and still look shit scared when one comes towards you

They need a reality check. Put them all on performance based pay instead of inflated salaries and see if that makes a difference.

I think this is actually a worrying possibility in the short to medium term. With no money, useless recruitment department and a hopeless DOF the future looks pretty bleak for the next 5 or so years.

We’ll be selling assets and running contracts down. The club are in a death spiral, and the stupid thing is that others breached the rules to keep their heads above water or prosper. We did it and got much worse. Incredible levels of incompetence, by people still in post. We are on the precipice of falling much further than our one season in League One imo.

Agree. Was our beloved DOF there tonight? Our owner wasn't, surprise surprise.

Next season we will go down, even some of these idiots gone theres no money to replace them.

We’re entering a very dark period for the club. We’re just at the start of the worst demise in football history. We’re could even end up on league two at some point……. We’re that much of a mess.

My eyes are bleeding watching us play...forget the results (which in the main are pretty crap) the football (if you can call it that) we are showing is diabolical....it's like we're just hitting and hoping...passing with no idea where the next pass will go (probably to the opposition) doesn't help we don't have 1 leader on the pitch...our full back options are criminal and our striker spends most of the match on the floor or waving his arms about....other than that we're brilliant

How do we go from the first 45 Vs Cov to that?

We had so much attacking threat and control over the game in that 45mins. We had absolutely nothing today.

They are knackered. We already know they are the unfittest team in the league from the stats. Theres no rotation either

It has to be said, we battered them at home, and they left with a point……bizarrely beat Oxford and Charlton, (didn’t say we we will) we will be close to playoffs…….

Coatsworth played in the 90s not early 80s.  Who could forget that up and under 'cross' for Walshie in the play off final?
