Anyone else feeling 'mildly' hopeful that we may get a win? Perhaps it's just the wrangling hold that Cifuentes had on us as fans watching his shit football. And one hopes King can swerve away from whatever Cifuentes was doing, even just a little bit. 

 

Or maybe it'll just continue being shit and drab to watch and we'll trudge home after a 2-1 loss and asking the same old questions...

I think it will be the same dross, but I’ll be happy to be proven wrong.  
 

He should have good ideas on how to get the ball in the box and where players need to be, but I don’t know if King has the stones to deliver the hard truth that the players need to hear. They need to spend time asking the players in front of each other why they keep doing XYZ. 

 

If JV is starting and controls everything, nothing will change. 

 

No Ayew, no JV walking football, no wingers getting the ball on the halfway line and that should help the problems they cause themselves. 
 

We can’t see another absolute cowardly performance from Hamza and milquetoast passing from Ricardo. We all know Okoli can’t pass, yet the players around him set him up to fail.

I remember fast pressing and even Hamza at RB was high up the pitch overlapping and helping Fatawu. Then it all went to shit and we had to see Soumare and Ayew for weeks.

Get Page to drive forwards with the ball and Monga/Fatawu to be proactive. Maybe get them to watch a best of Mane/Salah YouTube video for inspiration.

So the season ticket money is in their bank already, this can't be changed, therefore if a bum is on a seat or not doesn't really matter from that standpoint, and not really the issue.

 

What's most important here is the opportunity to send a message and crucially that its done in the most impactfull and effective way possible.

 

Something that really resonates, something thats left etched on the media's memory so to speak.

 

So a visual message that will be picked up on a TV broadcast at some point  (be it live or hi-lights)  showing empty seats  for a second time which mirrors the last boycott is a big plus.  Then the added drama of a protest but outside the main reception made up of boycotting fans is what.the news boy's and girl's want to cover. 

 

Something noisy, something contentious, something that is visually striking and not a normal occurrence 'makes good telly' they lap it up.

 

We need the media to help embarrass the Nepo Baby and KP, make their cock ups more visible and that we as fans have had a enough...
