There won't be any, but there never was going to be!

That Swedish journalist on RL seemed to think that it was up to Cifuentes to sign Diabate

Coventry are doing brilliantly by just attacking quickly,  we have all the players to break and get through teams at speed.

Not sure I can fully support this... Ayew and Vestergard are still with the club

Not surprised and at this put not particularly bothered either. No excitement or trust that whoever the club pull in next will make any difference.

Already stinks of a knee jerk reaction to yesterday rather than having plans in place

There goes another transfer window and probably a week or so before we get someone in. Please dust of the ex Southampton manager folder as first choices 🙄

Stats and records alone with a team with biggest wage bill of the championship, does he go down as the worst performing manager ever?

least with Ruud it was one of the worst squads in the PL

I would probably say so.

Our previous manager went 9 home games without a goal and we found someone worse. Anything is possible with dumb and dumber in charge

Fair comment 🤣

I had sympathy for him but as a manager you have to set basic standards, have boundaries. The basic stats under his leadership were terrible, we couldn’t defend, don’t press, we didn’t look like creating much, just nothing. Week on week we’re were visibly declining, culminating in yesterday’s shitshow. It’s a bad squad, but not get outplayed by Oxford level bad.

I sat at games genuinely trying to figure out what his plan was and give him the benefit of the doubt. He was tied to this stupid formation and stupid back passing, that achieved nothing.

Oxford were a better more enjoyable side to watch than us. We need to end this btech pep phase, the main target is to win football matches

You thought Oxford were enjoyable to watch!!!!!!???

You reckon that this squad is value for money for the wage budget then?

I think the sqaud is far better than 15th and no clean sheet since september.

Whether value for money is there, or not, Cifuentes has achieved the bare minimum from the squad available.

Finally. I was suckered into buying into this garbage football because the promise was that he would promote an attacking form of control with chaos and excitement. He delivered what 95% of these possession obsessed managers deliver. Boring, predictable football.

Let’s drop this 8 year failed experiment and focus on the football that made us successful, hard grafting, hard pressing, counter attacking football. Or if we want to switch it up a bit, go full German heavy metal Gegenpressing.

Make LCFC exciting again.

someone send this to top and rudkin

As soon as managers start sticking up the big CB for the last 10mins it spells the beginning of the end.

However, Top seriously needs to now look at the person who is appointing the managers, signing the players, handing out the contracts, causing the PSR troubles etc. It’s painfully obvious where the problem lies and yet another manager (good or not) has fallen on his sword for incompetence above him. We got lucky with Enzo, unless he addresses this we’ll be opening up a similar thread in 6-12 months time.

I dont trust the club to get the next appointment right at all but it cant be any worse, no identity. 23 games no clean sheets, look clueless when attacking, every player has regressed except Jordan james. Just hopefully it isnt Russel Martin i cant stand the bloke

Russell Martin has done nothing to warrant any interest but it would be typical to go to another level of crap

Chairman is a damn weasel; doesn’t show up for home matches once in two months, gets scared yesterday, now is acting a populist who’s listening to voices of the fans. Top is playing us all for fools..

The timing of this in the current transfer window is the latest ridiculous example of decision making from our cretin of an owner.
What will now happen is it’ll take an age to recruit a new manager and the window will be closed by the time he comes in, meaning we are stuck with this bunch of useless players…

We're not going to be bringing anyone in this window regardless
