Popular Post LeePhilpottsBaldSpot Posted 2 February Popular Post Posted 2 February Of all the names linked, this is comfortably the one I want done most. Relegation threatened teams need to build from the back and Hermansen is a massive upgrade on Stolarczyk. West Ham are probably desperate to get rid and he's probably desperate to be in the shop window / to get minutes to get in the Denmark squad for the World Cup. 5

If you are West Ham though, you know we aren’t paying to sign him permanently at the end of the deal.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Replace a keeper whose confidence is shot with another keeper whose confidence is shot. I'd rather Begovic. 2
adam Posted 2 February Posted 2 February I don't understand why we need to waste money on another keeper. Mads has been about as much use as our current keeper this season. We should just stick with Begavic. We are absolutely desperate for a left back and striker. 1

PSR Fox Posted 2 February Posted 2 February I would take Mads back in a heartbeat. I've not seen a keeper (Stolarczyk) look for out their depth on high balls since Rab Douglas & he had the nickname Dracula for a reason he was scared of crosses. Stolarczyk is a good shot stopper but has poor distribution , poor positioning & fails to command his box . 2

Away from home we've only had 11 clean sheets in all that time...(5 clean sheets away from home in 3 PL seasons). And by season, streaks without a clean sheet: 22/23: 21 games 23/24: 8 games 24/25: 27 games 25/26: 24 games (currently ongoing) Edited 2 February by Les-TA-Jon

Since Hermansen's injury every shot at him has been a coin toss whether it goes in or not (saves it 55% of the time). At a higher level against better players 1

Hermansen also completely missed a bread and butter save against QPR in the cup, even against weaker opposition he looks miles off it. You didn't notice his height as much when he was more agile but he looks tiny in goal nowadays for West Ham, he cannot cover his corners anymore.

JimJams Posted 2 February Posted 2 February I think people forget the difference he can make as a sweeper keeper compared to the majority of champ keepers. 3
splinterdream Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Imagine being Jakub knowing only reason he's playing is because we couldn't get anyone else in 2
BrilliantFox Posted 2 February Posted 2 February This is the main transfer I care about. If this doesn't get done, I'll be livid. Nothing worse than an incompetent keeper. 1

Obviously not happening, West Ham aren't getting their replacement (Kinsky from Spurs), Mads will be made to stay for cover. 1

Awful keeper, never should have been given the no.1 shirt. You need to go specsavers if you think hes better than Max, or your on a wind up 2 1
Stopharage Posted 2 February Posted 2 February If Mads is low in confidence, how is he going to feel with Thomas and Okoli in front of him? However, would be an ideal loan move for him, as he’d get a load of saving practice.
