Both sides are desperate for someone who will run into space as well as actually pass the ball forwards and cross. Back to basics with some added flair not the other way round. A forward that wants to be in the box will be nice after the last two clowns and whatever that thing from America was.

He’s really not that good is he? I can’t imagine he would have been a superstar with us, because most of the time he just runs the ball out of play. Funny thing is, playing every game for us and hitting better numbers he wouldn’t have made the England team but because he’s at a big club he does

Not amazing but not a bad player either

At 29 and with lower division experience, could be a good mix with our younger squad - ultimately though, given who we are, clubs will try and drive a hard bargain for any players under contract.

He had a superb game all round.

We can't afford to wait until later in the summer as there is so much to do. We all need some early news of the departure of a contracted player - whether sold or paid off. Positive activity will help to get the fans on side.
