People asking for a fast left back, we’ve got McFarlane and he somehow isn’t getting a single minute. I’m hoping for something realistic like this:

In:

- John Souttar

- Ilari Kangasniemi

- A holding midfielder I like Malachi Boateng from Plymouth.
- Davis Keillor-Dunn or Shim Mhueka (Loan).

Out:

- Faes

- Coulibaly

- Skipp

- Mavididi

Get rid:

McCarthy

Okoli

Faes

Souttar

Thomas

Choudhury

Skipp

Mavididi

Bob

None of them should play for us again.

Then six signings in. Three centre halves including Kangasniemi. Another left back to compete with McFarlane. A holding midfielder in - maybe two if Page goes. Then another striker.

So potentially 9 departures, and 7 incomings needed, with just a week left.

It's totally unrealistic to achieve this at this point, but that's what should've been the aim.

  2. Faes
  3. Souttar.
  4. Skipp.
  5. Okoli.
  6. Thomas.

  8. Decordova-Reid

Incoming priority order;

  1. Centre back.
  2. Centre back.
  3. Centre midfielder.
  4. Striker.
  5. Centre back.
  6. Goalkeeper.
  7. Left back.

Being reported a few L1 teams are trying to get Rory Wilson on loan from Villa, could we be one?

Don't know if its an age thing or its an we are, where we are thing, but I'm having to google pretty much every single link these days rather than previously knowing exactly who they are.

Agree with most of this but can’t see the club binning off new signing McCarthy after just signing him and him making 2 starts.

however the rest of the list absolutely 100%

McCarthy is a naughty one, I agree really, but he looks shot to bits to me, if we shook hands it'd make sense to me.

I guess he can stay but as backup.

The rest of the list - it's so long. We needed pretty much all of those gone. We've got no chance of it now.

So from what we currently know with potential outgoings….

Faes to go, new Finnish lad in (so no other centreback unless one of Okoli or Souttar goes)

Mavididi to go, no new signing needed

Choudhury close to going, leaves us Page, Braybrooke, Skipp and Neale (?) no need signing needed.

think that’s how it will currently be seen at the club unless some more outgoings occur like Okoli, Souttar and Skipp.

personally want BDCR gone so we can hopefully go for another striker

Obviously it is massively in realistic but yes I agree with you.

As we’re probably limited now of where we can sign players, Liga Portugal, Eredivisie, Jupiler and MLS will be easier routes…

Espen van Ee - Arouca. A midfield 6 who’s solid in possession and defensively.

Must admit, Harry Leonard at Peterborough is carrying on from where he left off last season. They tend to do well wirh attackers, will end up going for several million.

Was really hoping we took a chance on this lad, hey ho, will be interesting to see how he does at Peterborough. They usually do really well with bringing strikers in from outside the EFL

If we are to get another striker, then I expect it to be someone coming to the end of their contract or a loan.

Some options who are coming to the end of their contract…

Kyle Wootton(Stockport)

Bojan Radulovic(Huddersfield)

Daniel Kanu(Charlton)

Brynjolfur Willumsson(Groningen) - 3 in 3 at the start of the Eredivisie season.

But of course we have two more loan spots that can fill a matchday squad, plenty of options at Premier League and Championship level.

Thoughts on Michael Noonan? Still only 18, but at 6ft1 and clearly comfortable having it into feet or running in behind might not be a bad option.

Granted his goal return in the league of Ireland might not be much to go off, but a lot of people believe across the water think he is potentially as good as Mason Melia who’s at Spurs. Current market value is around €500,000

I was looking at this lad a few months back, the sort of market we need to be targeting now we find ourselves in League One.
