Popular Post Salieri Posted 7 February Popular Post Posted 7 February Can we get through a game with eleven men? Not gift wrap any goals for the opposition? Keep a clean sheet?? Win a game of football????? Hard to pick an eleven when there’s little faith in the majority to even put a shift in. I’d go with…. Begovic Kristansen Nelson Lascelles Aluko Skipp Winks Mukasa Mavididi Fatawu Daka 🤷♂️ 12

Corky Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Their form has improved in recent weeks. 10 points from 12 and one conceded.
South Shire Fox Posted 7 February Posted 7 February We seem to struggle more against other crap teams so we might actually have a chance against a better side
Raj Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Think I'll stay at home than watch us succumb again in the soulless library.

JimJams Posted 7 February Posted 7 February (edited) [On Winks] If we put aside the optics of playing somebody who doesn't want to be here, and isn't happy at the club and just look at it from footballing terms. For me, Winks is best when operating alongside 2 box to box types. He's a 6 but he isn't imposing or physical enough to take the burden of the defensive work. Under Enzo he had KDH and Wilf, 2 players covering lots of ground, participating in both defending and attacking giving him passing options when in possession and cover when out of it. With JJ out, you're only really looking at Page and Skipp maybe being able to do a lite version of it. With a system utilising a 10, who traditionally would do a lot less defensive work, press aside, you're relying on whoever partners Winks to put in one hell of a defensive shift. Aribo, Skipp, Hamza if he's back, are all a bit immobile to cater for Winks on the defensive side of things. Not to mention Aribo isn't able to play. Edited 7 February by JimJams 2

Did better than Winks, and has two further advantages: he hasn't been an absolutely central factor in our decline, and our results aren't yet demonstrably worse when he plays. It really would be a huge help if fans could understand that the lack of application by the likes of Winks is the main reason for our current predicament. Rewarding those individuals with a recall is unlikely to be the solution. 2
Blue ROI Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Get ready to be in the bottom 3 on Tuesday. And for KPFC to still clap the lads off and shake their heads at any disgruntled good for nothing protestors. 2

Ideally he would never play for us again, but, like I said we are desperately short at the moment and Aribo will be ineligible. 1

Muzzy_no7 Posted 7 February Posted 7 February King will be in charge for both of these Southampton games and we won’t win either of them, mark my words.
