We’re a serial losing team and they’re just accustomed to losing. The odd win here and draw there but we will soon return to strings of losses. That’s the norm.

What about the double save to keep it at 1 1 just before halftime and the save 2nd half where he tipped it over the bar.  His kicking was better too at least it didn't sail out of play all the time.

Genuine question (as an ST holder of 30+ years) but is anyone actually sort of "excited" about the prospect of attending this on Tiesday?

Aye but after that. That's why I'm not a fan of loans in from teams above and in the same league as it stops our guys developing whilst developing potential oppositions players

If Kingy is in charge and it looks highly likely he will be, can we not just go with 442 for this game. Literally any player who's ever kicked a ball knows how to play in this system, it's almost hardwired into a footballer. I understand why you wouldn't play the system against Man City as Pep would overload the midfield and tear you a new one, but this is the Championship and system football has no place in this league. We might also offer something upfront for once. I'm just at the point now where we need to stop repeating ourselves and try something different. Take things back to basics, make us hard to beat, and start creating some actual chances to score a goal or two.

Having sat through a terrible game in the pouring rain yesterday when we were outplayed for 90 minutes and mocked by brum fans I can honestly say I’m dreading it.

We are playing Southampton not Arsenal or Man City. How many have said on here why have we taken their dross? We can beat these. We need to keep cool heads and start fighting and show some understanding of the mess we are in and need to get out of.
