For me kingy missed the issues, we could have changed Thomas and Ricardo at 60 or earlier as we looked leggy and needed to stop the balls coming in from wide as they were bullying in the box, and both full backs leaving too much space,  it made no sense bringing on ayew when we had a young hungry Richards on the bench, but even daka was doing a better job job up top. Kingy made mistakes tactically tonight but he’s working with a threadbare squad. Get our injured players back and it’ll be different, but will it be too late?

Just don't get the leggy bit. We bossed the 1st half, Southampton were working hard chasing shadows, that means they're knackered and we're fresh for the 2nd half. Surely.

Can’t even get the basics right like holding on to a 3-0 lead.

This where Andy King shows his  inexperience to shut a game out ... there is a serious lack of mental toughness within the club

Went from being one of the best results of the season to the worst in 14 mins of football. What ever confidence they had left will be shattered an the rest of the season is not going to be fun.

we need a proper manager in asap if we want any tiny chance of staying up but that result could be a killer blow for us

Worst part is I got atleast 3 messages last night that said

"We will still lose 3-4"

And then

Should have put a bet on.

It's just shit that we all know what's going to happen and there's no surprises anymore.

They brought on 3 changes at half time, then another soon after if I remember. right. They're intention to just bang balls in. Ricardo was always going to be flagging, and Thomas stamina has always been rubbish. We did alot of pressing in the first half, it was obvious to see we were leggy. I don't think .any of our players are fit

The issues were here right from the get go, Kingy looking after things in pre-season, playing the kids for friendlies, half of the 'senior' players on holiday still looking to engineer moves away. At the time, I was here for it, almost the dawn of an era where we had to accept we had to start again.

Some players out there yesterday are past their best and some just are not good enough period! Ayew is the WORST striker I have ever seen, every time he got on the ball he fouled his man, doesn't compete for balls in the air, runs into channels to hold the ball up.....at 3-3! What is he doing! He is USELESS!

Ricardo is past his best, don't think he should be skipper either and it is such a shame his injuries have caught up with him. I agree with posts above about him and Thomas should of been hooked after an hour.

No excuses for last night, Kingy has held his hands up, its about time the players did too! Anyone who paid their hard earnt money to watch that live last night should be compensated.

I didn’t see the first half apart  from the goals so can’t comment on who had possession more and who was physically taxed. Mentally they should have been shot.
Maybe a  surprise to see our capitulation given that we had the experienced CB on the pitch to see out the game. No sign of the much trailed leadership on show.
regarding our fitness - there isn’t any. No pride from the playing squad and the small percentage gained from doing extra work during the week non existent. From my perspective it all drips down from the top of the club - the players think they care, just like those in the boardroom. But quality is lacking in the boardroom (annd elsewhere )  and real effort/application that makes a difference isn’t anywhere to be seen.

WTF

Watched the 1st half. Decent game and looked 3 points in the bag. Went down the pub and checked the score. Just over half an hour left and still 3-0. Checked score again with about 10 minutes to go and 3-1.

Would take a disaster to drop 2 points from there. Didn't bother looking again.

Got a message off my uncle this morning. STH for over 40 years. Has hardly missed a game at home in all this time and goes away as much as he can. Has enjoyed the highs and gone along with the lows. Gave him a call. Never known him to be upset about anything before but he's had enough. Said he isn't going again until this shower of shite have gone.

They (understandably) made three changes ant half time and doubled up on our full backs, the right sided ( Japanese?) player was wreaking havoc, we never got to grips with it, at 3-0, or 3-4…..naivety on Kings part, or lack of legs from our midfield?

It's the half time hot chocolate,  marshmallow and sprinkles

Think it makes them sleepy

You’d think they all had a 2 for Tuesday from Dominos on Western Boulevard

The first half was good quality, lots of interchanging of positions and first time passing, giving a good team the run around, with Mukasa looking very competent, so credit to the work they had done at the training ground.

The saddest thing was that no-one was really surprised by the end, as confidence is so brittle right now.

I didn’t feel there was any lack of effort, maybe fortitude and confidence yes, but

I actually just felt sorry for them all at the end as they would have felt ten times worse than us.

Honestly don’t think the players should be setting a precedent of compensating the fans after performances like these.

I do want them to have some money at the end of the month.

yes - another Ricci error sadly.

Wasn't it both Ricky and Thomas?

Cross from the left Ricky fell over trying to head it.
