Honestly feels like our players are fixong games or being paid to do so - there needs to be an enquiry.

It does seem very odd but it would mean literally everyone is involved as they are all rotten.

The trouble started when we went 3atb yesterday. Even though Saints had plenty of the ball, they didn't do much with it until then. Lascelles should've come for Okoli, who looked a bomb scare all game. On top of which he should've brought Aluko for Luke, who went back to being dogshit after good 1st half. All in all the subs were terrible.

First goal - Fatawu not closing down the cross and Okoli losing his man

Second goal - Page not getting out quick enough to stop the cross. No communication at the back when Ricardo flicks it and should have been Nelson's header if he had called it. Palmed out by Begovic straight to their player.

Third goal - Nelson losing his man at the corner for the flick on and Okoli ball watching and not marking

Fourth goal - Nelson caught out by bouncing ball.

All in all terrible for individual errors. Okoli and Nelson are not a good partnership. Fatawu for all his good has his faults when defending. Page too light weight in midfield. We also seem to run out of steam in midfield. There is alot to sort out.

I was at the match and thought the same. But you could literally say that about the entire team. Reality is he can’t be that good as he’s still part of a defence that hasn’t kept a clean sheet in 26. Hence my question.

Second half was terrible start to finish. Can’t remember a shot. Sick of sitting in the kop and not seeing the ball when we’re supposed to be attacking it.

Hate to say it but none of the ‘exciting youngsters’ have shown us anything yet.

It’s obviously a bad environment, but they all look a bit gash.

If you have been to watch the under 23s at Spagrave a few times you will realise there is not many if any who are anywhere close to making the first team even given that the current 1st team are not that amazing on a consistent basis

Thought the job was done didn't they, management and players, the way we played and the changes we made to the team reflected that and I imagine the half time team talk was shut up shop keep it tight and and we've won this.

Worked out well.

They're not fit, physically or mentally. If only they had a decent training facility.

Can’t even get the basics right like holding on to a 3-0 lead.

Basics? They were probably as shocked as we were.

I had totally forgotten we were even playing last night.

Imagine my surprise when I saw highlights on the EFL FB page last night. I thought to myself "what alternate universe am I in? What season was that from?" lol

I just can't get any excitement out of supporting this club any longer.

It feels like a slow, painful death that won't come sooner. 14 more matches of this dross, watching this carcass of a team deteriorating into dust.

Last night's game encapsulated all that is wrong with this club.

Second-worst defensive record in the league. Shambolic. I guess we want to rival the Wednesday, eh?

We're the laughing stock of this league, and maybe English football on the whole. And deservedly so.
It's got to get worse before it gets any better.

Might as well call it quits already and plan for League One next season.

Wait, you’re telling me there’s a goal on that side of the pitch?

I'm still numb from this. Said to my boy that, whilst i was there, i had no recollection of the last 20-25 minutes. When their first goal went in, we knew a comeback was on the cards and i sat there pretty much silent.

On a side node, special nod to SK1 singing 'stand up if you love leicester' when we went 3-0 up. A lot of us said a resounding 'no'! Need points first before any of that.

Problem is, Southampton had a better 1st half XG compared to us and more big chances, and i felt it showed. We were certainly clinical - Fatawu's was stupendous and Daka took a defensive howler well. But the warning signs were there in the first half. Luke messed up in the first few minutes to give them a big chance, and Okoli's passing was horrific.

I felt we started the 2nd half ok, but it became clear what Southampton were going to do. For any team playing us, its obvious really. We have no stamina, and when pushed hard, Riccy and Thomas are massive liabilities, and Fatawu and Stephie offer no protection.  Go wide, get the crosses in (we concede so many) and the chances will come. Some CB and Goalkeeping howlers in there as we spectacularly fell apart. At 3-1 i thought a draw was in the cards. At 3-2 - they were all over us. My boy asked to leave - i said no. Massive mistake. Will listen to him next time.

Our stats were criminal in the 2nd half. 1 shot and not on target, an XG of 0.17. I remember Page putting a great cross in that Daka couldnt get to, and a half chance for Daka from some long play. I cant remember anything else. Just a bit of 'something' would have helped.

Subs were pathetic though. Game was screaming for either (or both) of Riccy and Thomas to be replaced, along side Stephy early. 3 CB's was silly whilst the wings were being completely exploited. Kind showed his inexperience, or Saddler showed he is still useless. Probably both.

Left the second the goal went in with a sobbing son. Got the shits from the Nandos as well. Perfect evening. Topped off by finding out Man U equalised to keep Forest that little bit safer.

Spurs at home in 2022 took some beating but this is one of those seasons where the club keeps finding new ways for the lows to get even lower.

Its interesting this comparison, this was my thought and one of the moments I knew we were going down from the Premier League if something didn't change, same feeling now, I have a feeling its too late for much to affect the course other than pure luck. Marty was always the wrong manager but the issues run deep. Nothing has changed at all, nothing has been learnt, the club is more incompetent than ever.

I have a particular annoyance with people switching to a back 5 as a defensive move - it doesn’t work, it creates far more space than two solid banks of 4 would.

Kingy isn’t the first to do this, plenty do, but he would have been far better bringing Mukasa and Mavididi off, putting Fatawu up to play off Daka and playing double full backs on the wings.

Yep. Like many, I have felt nothing but apathy all season long about the plight we're in. But Tuesday night made me furious and I'm still not over it. Everything related to LCFC makes my heart rate rise at the minute. I think it's obscene that the club has said nothing since.

First defeat that hurt in a long time, maybe even the first this season for me. Even at Sheffield United on New Years Day, I hate losing to either Sheffield club, but I came out not really bothered as much as I used too be losing there.

It was embarrassing. It would’ve been easier to accept if we were battered in the first half.

So many brain dead decisions across the pitch and sidelines that they compound with the off field ones to make it even worse.

The first half they play like they haven’t all season and score 3 goals.  Pressing from the front and supporting attacks.  They switch back to how they have played all season and lose. It’s simple stuff.

There’s a short on YouTube from one of our fans behind our goal in the second half. It’s sickening to see the third and fourth go in and people just stand up quietly to make for the exits! Why don’t they swear, scream, gesticulate , boo and go crazy!!
