Truthfully, King has to take responsibility for that.  Even, Piper on Radio Leicester said the same.  As admirable as he is King, and I respect him for previous efforts as a player he was clearly out of his depth as a coach for that 2nd half.  We came out showing no attacking intent at all 2nd half.  How, he expected to hold onto what we had I don't know let them have the ball and run at us.  To then take off your two wingers, and Daka who was actually causing them problems with his running was beyond stupid.  King was culpable.,

I've not watched the game, only seen the goals. King may have got the tactics wrong 2nd half.  I don't know, but the changes don't really reflect what you've said.

The first change 64th minute Page for Mukasa, Lascelles 75th for Mavididi, and finally 84th minute Ayew and Thomas for Daka, Fatawu when gassed.

They're all fairly normal changes in a game when your winning 3-1, he can't account for the players bottling it, and simply not defending

King doesn't want the job, he's a club legend and IMO blaming him instead of these ****ing **** players who have failed with the last 3 managers is harsh.

Nelson had a good game until the 80th minute.

He didn’t enjoy playing in a back 3 that’s for certain.

You could tell he wasn’t fully sure of his surroundings, where to press / close - especially when having to defend out wide.

He didn't say it was a senior figure just a staff member.

Most of them are fans too like us and not  oblivious to our demise unlike the Board

Incredible lack of respect from everyone laughing and joking around in there. What a disgrace this club has turned into.

I did. Although I’d like to think they were clapping Mukasa as he come over to near where I sit as really you can’t pin anything on him. That’s when the game fully turned funnily enough, when he was dragged.

Yeah literally every steward was making remarks about how shit we are the other week. I think it's a running joke with the staff about how bad everything is run and there's just a sense they've all known this for years and everything's coming home to roost. As it were.

An honest reflection from our manager. Everyone should watch it. Manager is not the problem. We've had five managers since Enzo left. Problem is the complete lack of leadership on and off the field, and a complete lack of accountability for the fan base. I accept King's apology, and feel bad for him.

Not his fault we lost, but how ****ing annoying was that referee?

Did not stand for any of our time wasting. Marching Mavididi off the pitch and basically running into the goal to pick the ball up when Southampton got their first and second.

I would say we could do with him when we’re the ones chasing, but what’s the point.

I was thinking that last night, but it all comes from the leadership. Appreciate it's probably a communal space but can you imagine the reaction of Sir Alex Ferguson to that nonsense after a defeat like that. There would have been tea cups and F bombs flying everywhere if anyone was making such a racket. Instead, everyone would have been mindful of his presence and aura and it would have been like a library. Tells you a lot about the current state of the club.

Not even our brain dead players lack that much respect. I don't want to go to another game now. They have made me feel something I never thought I'd feel about this club.

I was numb last night but the more I think about it the more angry I get about how we have all let this happen.

The first half they pressed, passed the ball and actually supported each other in attacks.  Musaka was playing the ball into space ahead for Daka and even Thomas to run into and stretched the defence and more importantly kept the ball away from the areas they usually make mistakes.

The 2nd half they stopped pressing, sat back, passed around in dangerous areas, inviting the pressure allowing SOTON play.  Thomas making stupid mistakes again when he’s defending.

It was like watching two different teams. If he didn’t want them to play like that in the 2nd half he should have taken control. The changes he made allowed them to sit back even deeper and he allowed the tired and thick full backs to be under constant pressure.

Ayew was embarrassing, giving away fouls and not even able to do what people say is his skill.

Exactly, I took that as a steward or someone. But indicative of how everyone feels despite being 3-0 up!

At some point, there will be a manager that realises if you're 2 or 3-0 up at half time, you're probably playing decent and you should maintain what you're doing. Obviously make adjustments if the opposition make adjustments and they need to be countered.

Our tactic consistently seems to just be, camp on the edge of our box and hope that 45 mins of defence v attack doesn't translate into enough goals for the opposition.
