People behind this are the reason we must protest loud at (at least) every home game. In 6 months when Rudkin is still here and no outside investor, and we are sat (if we are lucky) mid table in league one, they’ll have no option but to shut up.

They won't stop. It is a cult. Not even exaggerating anymore to say it. When Bromley beat us they'll be blaming the EFL.

There is nothing left to prove. These idiots lost their arguments years ago. The problem is the more they get their way, the more we all lose.

Luckily this lot won't do a great deal beyond bashing a clapper and posting slop on facebook so I highly doubt they will drown anything out.

Fortune regardless that was a club with significant obstacles which was still bought. I can point out plenty others such as Birmingham for example who had heavy debts and a stadium needing major infrastructure works, they were still attractive enough for someone to buy

The club has a lot of potential and many attractive features to buyers. The current crap standing and practices it has shouldn't be allowed to overtake it.

I'm in L1 and even there if there is any anti Top/ Rudkin chants that are swiftly moaned at.

I remember  it kicking off with the UFS boys recently  and at away games there were fisticuffs too.

Thing is the majority( and like it or not, it is a majority) dont want anything said about Top or KP partly because of Vicha's legacy.

Another hardcore will be the "Good times and Bad" andceill just see this as another transition back to the bad times where you carry on supporting the team no matter what.

You will NEVER change their opinions.

If your going to chant do ot en masses as you'll get a backlash guaranteed.

P.S Whatever you do DONT FVCK with the vichai statue.

Plenty of things going for it though, very cheap for what's there, cost an absolute fraction to buy, the differing rules in Non League allowed them to do certain things a different way, their money was enough to get it this far and now they're running without needing the cash injections, been run well but they'd have struggled coming in here and doing a similar thing it's a completely different kettle of fish.

Birmingham's probably a better example. Don't disagree that there is no reason we shouldn't, eventually, be able to find a suitable owner.

Amusement of this being they still want Rudkin out, so they still want change and still know we're in the shit.

Yet they support a millionaire ruining our club

This is one of the most unhinged things ive ever seen and reminds me why i genuinely hate at least 80% of our fanbase.

We genuinely are the worst in the country.

It might be an attention-grabber if everyone dumped any merchandise they own that features "King Power" on it, outside the ground in a big pile.

Also, what about a campaign to stop calling the ground "King Power Stadium"? Use "Fosse Way" instead.

Neither is Rob Mac, he originally only wanted to sponsor Wrexham so he could do a Documentary and couldn’t afford to do that without Ryan Reynolds help

He's got less money than Reynolds,

Don't think they're combined net worth is even half a billion.

Echo those saying leave the Vichai statue alone. Absolutely nothing you can possibly gain there.

The ones to regularly attend home and away seem to be anti KP. The ones who don’t seen to be more pro KP, from my experience.

I imagine something like that will happen, you can’t control it. People will then use it to easily say ‘Look!! I told you they were idiots, ignore them’ I can see it coming a mile off.

Regardless, the message won’t get ignored and will not get lost. I hope a good number turn up.

Strange take imo.

what about all those (the majority) who don’t boo?

what about those who applaud the team off the pitch?

What about all the older fans who don’t sing?

I’ve just been getting messages about getting behind the players.

A lot of people call it Filbert Way, which makes sense as the ground is on Filbert Way. We absolutely should not be calling it the King Power Stadium anymore though. I sold all my KP shirts on Vinted a while back but good idea 😁

Strange take? I've literally just given you my own opinion from attending games.

Yeah they're probably on one of those fb pages we're laughing at in the other threads...

Looks like Anthony Herlihy has been busy on social media today, didn't think he worked days of the week with a 'Y' in them.

Never mind eh? It'll all sort itself out.

To my knowledge, we don't owe millions at all. I think - debt wise - we are in relatively decent nick.

The problem is cashflow. We are committed to spending 30m on running costs and 40m on wages each year (at best) and as of this summer, we have no sizeable income other than selling players.

It means a new buyer has to finance the club, not service loans. Private Equity banks do that for a living.

Ofc, KP will never sell, but shortly that option will be out of their hands.

With the bank loans, contracts outstanding and whatever top would want i would imagine its many hundreds of millions to just buy the club. Never mind eh, must be a buyer out there it will sort itself out

What bank loans? Like I'm not saying there isn't any. Just not aware of any (Macquirie aren't loans).

All I know of are the loans to KP that were written off and converted to equity
