Was walking to my turnstile as the protesters were congregated outside the main entrance.

“these lot have got short memories, they won us the prem”

I turned round and said “they’re also taking us down to league one” and he just looked at me gone out and laughed.

I had a heated discussion with one such fellow who described the protest as a waste of time and full of “students and communist” looking types. He also said a new owner would take money out of the club.

These people are thick as pig shit and you can’t reason with them. We will spiral down and down and sadly a lot of the fanbase will have been complicit.

By student and communists he means under the age of 40, noticeable that while all ages were represented, the group skewed younger - I.e. those who care more about the future than the past!

Well I'm nearly 60 & was there :scarf: Problem with the protest is that once you've sung a few songs against KP, Top & Rudkin, waved a banner towards the corporates, there's F'all else to do but sing same songs again & then move on.

Pity the players didn't show the same passion on the pitch (after 10 mins).

What happened with the banner in the end?

Saw some policewoman or club personnel asked “and what do you intend to do with the banner” whilst it was being folded up.

I think it’s a banner that can be re used at a later date.

It’s not with the club.

Well I’m guessing that revolutions are started much more frequently by students and communists than they are by middle aged conservatives :)

Hardly the case for your own revolution, if you are an Englishman.

It was the protestors who kept Brendan Rodgers in place for too long.

It was the protestors who gave two crucial home games to S & S.

It was the protestors who signed Winks and Coady in £90k a week in the championship.

It was the protestors who signed Skipp for £25 million.

It was the protestors who have kept Rudkin in place for far too long.

It was the protestors who got rod of a CEO without getting another one in.

It was the protestors who appointed Cifuentes.

It was the protestors who kept Cifuentes in place for at least a month too long.

It was the protestors who wasted three and a half weeks and four games to appoint a manager who could have been appointed within three hours.

Add: It was the protestors who signed Okoli for £14 million.

Why weren't you with the protesters, Bert?

These people deserve the club going bust. They really do.

Why are people so blind?!? I truly don’t get it.

They’re actively cheering on their own clubs demise because they have a parasocial relationship with “Khun Top”

They can't seem to realize his farther was the main reason we was successful along with the foundations Pearson put in place

Really glad to read this thread because by the time I’d managed to get into town (and the ground) it hadn’t seemed like much had happened. On to the next one - maybe a sit in or something more…. Abrasive? This is a process, especially with our fanbase. Keep it up.

When we're either rescued at the last minute in League One, or resurrected as a 9th tier phoenix club, it'll be interesting to see whether people still feel that way. Or disappear entirely. Because this is what's on the line, and I'm not sure the 'it only fell apart because you were so nasty to Jon and Khun Top' argument is going to have any legs on it.

Things would be much easier if we understood now that there is no credible defence of Top. A lot of pain could be avoided.

But I suspect it'll come down to the last minute rescue / phoenix club instead. And if that's where it's going, I hope it goes there soon, so we can see who really gives a shit about Leicester City. And just get on with the job of getting behind them (which is pretty easy, whichever league you're in and however crap you are, if there's anything which you feel you can get behind.)
