Best of luck with this, but for me. I would sooner supporters invest interest into their already established local non league team, Leicestershire as loads of non league clubs that need support.

A nice adage. but considering Leicester is the biggest ‘residential area’ in the County and also the ‘capital’, we do require a club that has Leicester in its name.

They won’t get liquidated though as someone will buy us.

It’s baffled me forever, that as a county we’ve never really had a successful club in the county.

How many other cities in England with a population as big as Leicester, have never had two professional league teams?

I  don't know, looking at the horrendous running costs we have - a couple of seasons stuck in League One could be enough. Had no idea the training ground cost such a tremendous amount of money to run. You can cut the wage bill, but you can't cut that -  short of selling it. And who would want to buy it for the price we'd put on it?

Yes, yes, yes. Need to have a plan in place for when club goes into administration in 18 months. Top can save face by selling ( for£1) to community. Government, PL and EFL would be very embarrassed if club goes bust whilst there is a credible community ownership offer on the table. Quite liked Fosse two tone blue squares kit.

It’s a tough one, the easy option would be suggesting finding an already established local non league team no matter how high up the pyramid they are but you also want to connection to the club you grew up supporting and loving

I don’t think we are there yet but I do believe if the club go under or if this continues then a supporters group team should be seriously considered that can carry the Leicester name and continue from traditions/history.

United fans could have picked any non league team when they turned against the Glaziers but supporting FC United of Manchester holds a connection and deeper meaning

I do think the Germans get this right how their clubs are ran, supporter backed teams stops situations that are happening to ourselves and within the English game. Clubs are built on communities and the connection to their supports, I love clubs like St Pauli that have deeper roots

Just an accident of history. Loughborough were a league club once upon a time; if things had gone differently they could still have been one.

Or potentially Leicester Utd could have had more success and been a league club.

Could have happened - just didn't.

The Tigers probably don't help, although Bristol managed to have two football clubs and a decent rugby club. (Although  neither football club matches our historical size/success.)

If the club folds then the phoenix/successor club will become Leicester City for me. I just hope the whole thing isn't hijacked by the Ginetta brigade, spinning a narrative that negativity rather than complicity got us where we are, because then things could easily fracture. We'll all have to be willing to be a broad church, and if there were those who'd called for blind faith as the original club folded, I suppose they'd have to be welcome too, whether they understood what they'd done or not. And that could get tricky.

If there was a reformed club there's great stadium vacant, Hinckley Leicester Road stadium would be good setup.

Agreed but we might be biased

Leicester Road still got a team playing there.

Although its still short of a changing rooms

I’d love it but there are plenty of examples where it’s not worked or the fanbase got split.

Maine Road, AFC Liverpool, Northwich, Bury for a bit

As you’ve seen in recent weeks, it wouldn’t get full support. In fact unless it was outright Phoenix, I think you’d struggle to get a couple of hundred.

No idea.  Maybe the Florists would buy it?

A new owner would potentially just gut what is operating at the training ground to cut costs

Close off pitches, pools, etc

I sincerely hope it doesn't come to this but anyway. Not keen of Fosse as part of the name. If not Leicester City perhaps and please don't have an attack of the vapors what about Leicester County to incorporate the whole county in the name?

Surely the whole point was to form a club based on your own principles and run it the way the fans want it?  All clubs have to start somewhere, if everyone supported their local side they me a tiny fraction of clubs that we have now.  Plus forming your own club means that the fans are all based at one club rather than scarttered around various other clubs.  And if leicester fans followed the likes of FC united they could maintain their link and identity with Leicester city.
