I don’t see any negatives on a short term contract… as has been mentioned previously he’s a championship fire fighter and the only ambition we should have at this point in time is staying in the league 🤷🏼‍♂️

Rowett has better stats as a manager in the Championship than Marti does (which isn't saying much but still)

Who honestly do you think the club could afford to get? They can’t afford to pay the compo, the clubs in a free fall, we’re not going to be knocking around the premier league level managers are we. 
 

This is a sensible appointment given the contract length aswell. Then re assess in the summer.

I think his stats are more impressive than the Marti Fraud. Marti had done nothing with anyone in any division, he was evidently a useless clown. Rowett has had reasonable success and Millwall, Brum and Burton in League 1. He’s steady, he’s not going to promote us but he might get us more structured defensively.

I saw a podcast which was raving about Rowett’s short term impact at clubs he’s worked at. He usually has a pretty good new manager bounce, if he matches that record here then we should be safe.

His Derby team were the 3rd best attack in the league, I’m holding onto the delusion that he can get Monga/Fatawu/Mavididi firing again. 
 

If Daka scores more than 5 goals for the rest of the season give Rowett a 30 year deal

Exactly league one and not going to get promoted, that basically the mentality this club seem to have and they expect the fans to buy into that idea. If we had got a decent manager at the start of the season maybe we'd be in a position where a 6 points deduction would still have us in a playoff spot but no we got a manager who saved QPR from relegation and now it seems we getting the manager who was sacked by the team below us 🤣 🤣
