He's clearly added some balls to them. Prior to the Stoke game, we'd have been happy with 3 points from Stoke, Boro and Ipswich away. The fact we could have won 2 of those is more frustrating.

Yeah agreed we need a fella with a fancy name and no experience who talks about the press in press conferences imo

4 matches and zero wins. This is the fella people were saying is good enough for the job.

How can you be Top and Rudkin out but Rowett in? Rowett makes that PE teacher from Lincoln City look like Pep.

Rudkin has brought in yet another dud of a manager and you're all lapping it up.

Who would you have brought in? Baring in mind we cant buy a manager out from another club as we dont have a pot to piss in. Most managers worth their salt wouldnt come to a club in the position we are. Who are some realistic managers we missed out on?

Not sure anyone is lapping it up, but weve seen an improvement in fight, effort and defensive structure. In our current situation, its an improvement at least. But likely won't be enough.

He’s not offered anything different. If anything, youth getting pushed to the side.

He's not a miracle worker, so don't think we could have expected to suddenly get clean sheets, a good work ethic and a few wins already...as much as I'm disappointed we haven't picked them up lately.

Clean sheet still looks a distant possibility at this moment in time, but we do look more resilient than before. And we've only lost 1 of 4 matches, that match being the in-form team in the league...I'm slightly clutching at straws, but if not for the poor work ethic against Norwich, I'd say we can see some progress.

The problem is that we need to see rapid impact—a new manager bounce, if you will. I'm worried about it being too little, too late. And those home games do not fill me with confidence. We seem better away.

Need to sack the set piece coach, we have been terrible for years, when defending we never win the first ball and never win the first  attacking. Ipswich been swinging corners to the back post the whole match and O'Shea won everything and should of scored on number of occasion

Partly because we’re a lot smaller than most the teams.

It surprises me that some people don’t see that this is a step in the right direction.

2-1 up against stoke, dropped points and ended 2-2.

1-0 up against boro, dropped points and ended 1-1

1-0 up today, dropped points and ended 1-1.

This is Cifuentes's modus operandi. Step in the right direction? Or more of the same with a different face on it.

Sorry, but I will never be fooled into saying a 0% win rate is a "step in the right direction".

That awful Wolves manager won 6 games in a row last season, thats what you call managerial impact.

No one rates Vitor Pereira as a manager, so what does that say about Rowett?

Who else should we have brought in then?

Can you name someone better who you think may be available and actually want to come here?

In Rowett’s first four matches we’ve played three of the best-performing sides in the Championship so far this year. In two of those games (Middlesbrough and Ipswich away) virtually everyone on the pre-match threads were convinced we’d get thrashed, yet in both cases we got a point.

I think people sometimes forget just how low we’ve sunk. We’ve been utterly horrendous in three of the past four seasons—our decline has been so spectacular it will be studied for generations to come. Rowett has come in to one of

the most dysfunctional environments any manager will ever face and had to play three of the division’s best-performing sides in his first four games—and lost only one of them. This is clearly progress. It won’t mean anything if he doesn’t start winning games in the much easier run of fixtures ahead, but he’s instilled some resilience and stopped the rot. It surprises me that some people don’t see that this is a step in the right direction.

We are Rowett's level ,the days of top rated managers coming here are long gone and they're  not coming back thanks to Top and Rudkin, the sooner we all accept where we are the better.
