We are cursed

No. We have players with a weak mentality and are pathetic. Ability is there, but if you don't have the right attitude then you're on a hiding to nothing. We now a culture that includes failure on a regular basis. Unless big decisions are made, we are going to fold

Emergency meeting tonight apparently as the club cannot afford to be relegated. If that happens and they sack Rowett, then we are going breach financials for another season and look an absolute laughing stock.

Maybe they should've had some emergency meetings in 2022 and the start of 2023. These emergency meetings feel about three years too fvcking late.

Bit late for that now!

We are 23rd now whats the difference most of this team has been relegated 2/3 times

The difference is the last 2 managers over this period have been worse that the first, which their points per games ratio also backs up with their most recent employers prior to their appointment here.

Marti had a better record with QPR and us than Rowett times at Oxford and here.

if you think it needs a miracle worker to get more that one win in 16, I think it’s best you stick to watching your mate, I don’t want to make you miss anything important in case he is doing a review of the game.

In Cifuentes' final 5 league games he was averaging 0.8 points a game...

In Rowett’s last 5 games he is averaging 0.6 points a game….

They have teams more committed and equipped than ours.

Leans on experience every week. Experience that has constantly failed.  Shit manager, same boring system, poor motivator, sacked off all our youth so we will be worse off long term.

it was exactly I expected. Awful manager and now there is proof. Our situation is not his fault, but he has also failed and failed big.

I don't know what to think after that interview, hes not even tried to BS. Told us that the players lack fight and grit, said they only want to score a perfect goal or screamer, said they aren't capable of playing any other way but is just so calm about it.

Equally just faking trying something different.

Whats the point. Even if we win all our remaining games we are down anyway. Don’t waste more money on sacking him. Save it cos we will need £ next season L1

He sounded like he had absolutely no idea what to do with the shitshow of a squad he’s got. Paraphrasing, they only want to score the perfect goal, they aren’t a dark arts team, can only play one way, need to just do the basics, keep on making avoidable mistakes, need to take a bit of responsibility, and if we don’t win next weekend there’s no way back. Refreshingly honest from a manager on one hand, the words of someone who knows it’s already all done on the other. Dont think that fits in well with Top and Rud****s narrative

Pretty much spot on and summarised well, as I say, very odd to hear a manager talk that way.

I Think you’re missing the point, it’s a drop in caliber of manager based on their respective records at their last clubs. Marti was mid table.

Rowett was firefighting at a newly promoted team hoping to avoid relegation last season and then sacked this season.
I don’t think there is any argument to be had that results have got worse, even though Rowett has had more players at his disposal.

You think it’s simply down to the worst squad ever in the championship, and that a miracle worker is needed to achieve wins.

I believe someone more competent than Rowett could’ve achieved more than one win.

The decision to appoint a substitute teacher on a deal until the end of term to manage a classroom of unruly children was never going to see many GCSEs achieved.

It was clear as day Marti was not a long term answer and they should have had a contingency in place when it was needed. An upcoming young manager from the continent who could inspire the players and get them bought into his methodology.

If they absolutely had to go for the caretaker route, you need someone who will command respect like Warnock (who coincidentally walked into Torquay and turned them round).
