His post match interview was interesting, basically said to the players it may not affect you going down but it affects a lot of other staff around the club. Worrying if he knows it aint affecting the players

We still have fans defending the players lol @HankMarvin and @SecretPro

You are full of contradictions.

one manager 14th after 29 games  with 11 wins.

New manager one win in 10

“only a miracle worker could do more”

#similar

Never known someone so full of shit.

And people were defending him posting from Portugal.

You just knew it was going to be our very own Joleen Lescott moment.

Owners at fault no doubt but get this fella gone.

Post match interview was basically saying that the players don't listen to him. Fair enough as he's shite but still.

Could there be a degree of self preservation in those comments?
He wants to come out of this with some credibility, one win in 20 isn’t exactly gonna have the phone ringing non stop.

Imagine Pearson saying the players don’t listen to him, here is a wild idea maybe drop them and play the younger ones then. Or has it taken him 10 games to realise

Coward

What respected manager lets his players face the music?

Players are sent out week after week after week  after week with selections and tactics that they know will lose. Regardless of their ability and attitude, they are sent out every single week - for two consecutive seasons - to lose. And we wonder why they are demoralised

Not dedending the players am I you moron.

Just willing to accept the club is a failure from top to bottom, including the manager. Its really not rocket science.

We needed a striker. We needed a left back. We needed some grit and nastiness. We needed to get rid of the players that didn’t want to be here. The club insist on using agents for signing players, amateurs.

The club decided to fck around again with another ill prepared pre season.

The club didn’t bother getting a striker and in January.

And if you believe it, they want to sack Rowett as they can’t afford to go down. I wish they had the IQ to see the lack of action over the last few years and the abysmal setup for this season is the reason why we find ourselves here and not the current manager. Yes he hasn’t tried to completely changed our approach and that is on him!

But they’re fcking clowns and they need to fck right off out the club. Everything and I mean everything is on them. We have the squad and manager we have because of them.

Honestly I detest everything about the way we play, clearly a remit from the fcking clowns running the club.

Rowett really needs to stick two fingers up and fck off the one up front passing around the back nonsense. We can’t play it and haven’t been able to do so for years. But we’ll setup the same next season too so I care not one bit about who the manager is, I can’t trust we will have any organised direction and plan from the clowns above .

"Doesn't hurt" apparently (2 points from 3 games since that comment).

Yeah, I think both things are true. He's trying to save some reputation and the players also don't listen to him. But then again, he plays the same players every week in the same formation, what does he expect will happen.

I don't think we did probably similar the problem is the squad not the manager.

Deal with facts mate, no ‘I think’ needed. This season’s stats both at Leicester and from the club Rowett was sacked from before he was remarkably recruited by Leicester City show that he is not even as good as Cifuentes.

Cifuentes’ PPG at LCFC 1.32 - Rowett’s PPG at LCFC 0.9

Rowett’s PPG at Oxford 0.9

Bloomfield PPG at Oxford 1.12

We have a poor squad but we have a worse manager. Recruiting him has helped Oxford potentially survive and has pretty much guaranteed our relegation.

The suggestion from some that the players are bad so the manager can’t possibly make bad decisions shows a complete lack of nuanced critical thinking.

The owner we all hate employed them all so no idea why slating the manager is considered a defence of the owner or the players. Nobody should escape the scathing criticism. They’re all earning far too much money.

All he's done is he'd made us slightly better defensively (the bar was already very low) while absolutely decimating our attacking threat.

I posted last night that we had looked better under Rowett despite the results, but that today was unacceptable. The one reason he is here for is only here to keep us up, and quite clearly he isn't going to do that (admitting as much by saying the players aren't listening) - so a change should be made. But they won't.

And I’m not convinced by that either. I think it’s something a lot of us are trying to believe, but it’s not true. He’s made us worse.

Was 1.3scored / 1.4 conceded per game

now 1.0/1.3

Way to go Gazza
