Have to partly agree - the players are utter scum of the earth but if he had gone 352 weeks ago and got mavadidi and luke thomas out of my face there is every chance results would have been better -

bottom line he didn’t have the bottle to do anything and just put the same crap In the same crap

formation and basically said go again

He’s said the players don’t know how to play any other way. I do find it hard to believe they can’t play in a 442 but he’s also aluded to that they don’t listen to him. Big time Charlie’s the lot of them

What is it about the place that makes players turn into arseholes or why has noone been able to manage it. 

When we first started our downfall I could see why the older guys in the changing rooms could have too much power, but they achieved something. Who has earnt the right to be an arsehole in that dressing room?

 

Think they doing it out of spite for fans, they hate us that much. Always been a but if disconnect since Rodgers and its got gradually worse.

Pioer said he will find out that this lot let everyone down time and time again. What I don’t get is why he still keeps playing the lot of them. Guess he doesn’t have too much choice. 
 

But change shape do something differently

The goal we conceded epitomised the season for me, not one of the those players ‘chasing back’ put their body on the line nor did any of them just take the yellow by making a tactical foul high up the pitch. 
 

As for Rowett, whilst he is far down the list of people at fault for this seasons absolute shit show, he is not absolved of any wrongdoing for what has been a fairly disastrous 10 game run of results. 

In a run of 6 very winnable games against either mid table mediocrity, teams on the beach or the very worst team in the history of the championship we have won once. 

He has laid the blame at the door of the players, whom most I cannot abide, however he has been guilty of a few things himself - 

 

   - alienating most of the younger players 


   - benched Mukasa when he was in great form of the back of one poor performance 


   - ⁠won vs Bristol City with a 4-3-3 then decided to revert back to Winks and the same old 4-2-3-1 which has failed for most of this season


   - put his faith in the old guard, tried and tested players who have continually let this club down. 


He has shown  a complete lack of any bollocks to change anything. He had a 14 game free hit to come in and change it up get a reaction and even 3 or 4 wins from a run of very winnable games would have made a marked improvement and yet he has changed very little  and ended up with equally poor results as his predecessors.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they got rid of him today. 
But does anyone genuinely think we’ll have a replacement lined up in the next few days? Of course we fvcking won’t. 
Look how long it took to get Rowett in the first place - over 3 weeks and Cifuentes took majority of the summer. 
The state of this club is disgraceful.  
If we’re lucky we might get someone in for the last game of the season with these twats in charge. 
We are so reactive instead of being proactive.

We keep hiring coaches that have never achieved our presumed ambitions at the time they were hired, and expect them to turn shit into holy water.

Who in their right mind comes in to a club in free fall, with 5 games left and no hope of surviving with a group of plonkers that don't want to be here?!

 

There is absolutely no point sacking him and is an expensive we don't need. 

 

We're done and gave been for a while. If the board can't see that, then they are thick, stupid, incompetent, delusional and shouldn't be running a football club. It will show how inept they really are again! 

 

Edit. Sorry that was quite an aggressive post. 100% it Wasn't aimed at you, just my frustration is getting the better of me. My bad.

I think we are doomed. 

 

I don't know how he changes it with 4 games to go. There isn't a player he can bring in different to what we have got. The youngsters aren't bailing us out of this.

Very underwhelmed with his efforts. But not surprised by the reaction from the players. They all need to get in the bin. 

 

Guilty of not trying something different from the tried and failed and also not gambling with younger players. Damp squib.

I’ve got no qualms with Rowett personally

 

he is a decent manager 

 

Managers are paid big money to come in and make things better too pick the players up and galvanise them and improve them.

 

thats not possible when several players couldn’t give a toss

 

he can’t wave a magic wand when facing such attitudes, and we can see these attitudes in plain sight on the pitch, it’s utterly disgusting the attitude these players are showing.

 

i think if anything, Rowett is in a state of disbelief too how such fortunate men earning so much money living a dream most lads can only dream of…..are displaying such awful non professional behaviours
