Just seen Nelson’s late block again - it saved us the 1 point. The way we were wide open behind the fullback (Hamza) yet again was alarming though, just a free invite to put crosses in against us, the keeper and CB’s must be going crackers at the wide men, they give them no let up or protection.

This all feels exactly like it did under Dean Smith when we went down.

 

Minor upturn in performances had people believing the players cared again but we never did enough to stay up and always found ways to throw points away.

 

I think we're done for. Especially considering the sides around us are picking up points now. Exactly how Forest and Everton did in 2022/23.

 

I'm waiting for that killer game in the same week our rivals get massive wins. IIRC Fulham obliterated us and in the same day Forest beat Southampton and Everton pumped Brighton about 5-0. I think there will be a similar week this season. I feel like we're closer to getting spanked than comfortably winning a game.

It was right in front of the linesman and I couldn’t believe that he didn’t even flinch when it happened!

Mebee the EFL should retrospectively ban (or lock up) Cameron Burgess for a full-on assault on Dewsbury-Hall a couple of seasons ago - and yes, you've guessed it, penalty NOT awarded. 

They really are an unlikeable bunch - fouling, diving, moaning, and blagging jammy results through last-minute double-deflected goals.

Having watched this again, am I seeing right? He pulls his hair during play and then shoved him on the floor off the ball? 
 

I saw the off the ball shove (and was asked by one of ours what I was shouting for) and can’t believe that the linesman did nothing!

Hard to tell from that video what the incident is. What did he do? Not really seeing a hair pull or stomp.
