I don't give a shit what they are. It's about a short term fix of doing a job.

 

He can run reasonably quick. He is capable of goals. A struggling team instructed to launch it into the channels (a winger's job anyways) is what any decent pragmatic manager would play.

Given how we’ve been playing away from home under Rowett this would be a very surprising outcome. When we’re not at the KP we seem to show a bit of the resilience and determination that Rowett’s teams are known for. It’s when we’re at home that it all falls apart again.

Choudhury at the base with Skipp and James ahead feels much more defensively balanced than anything we’ve put out.

Purely anecdotal and it surprised me but a few blades I know said that Hamza was gash in CM for them and much better when he was playing at RB for them.

I would play him at centre back, not because he would be great, but got to be better than either of the two chuckle brothers playing there now.

Didn't realise he played there for them.

 

Another data point for the idea that almost all of the dross flourishes elsewhere.

Be interesting to see how they respond and who the trusted players are. I can only hope its not Ayew, you cant trust the guy to move. All I can say is he must have one hell of a personality to keep getting selected.

Next three round of games are absolutely make-or-break for us.  (come on ffs, it's not like we're playing Man City, Arsenal or Liverpool!!!!!), and the other fixtures should take care of themselves, as their (relegation rivals) games look harder than ours, and some play each other.

 

Real big opportunity in the next three. Minimum of 7 points needed. D, W, W and we've still got a chance to stay up

I think he has less situational awareness than any player in the club. Which for a defensive minded player isn't ideal. If we get confirmed relegated I'd love to see him at CB for the banter though.

 

The only real time he's played CB is in a back 5 with 5 players about 10 yards in front of them. That kind of formation got Coady into the England squad when he was with Wolves.

I'd rather have Daka who is the worst striker I think I've seen in the last 10 years.

Up until recently I would have agreed with you but in recent games I think skipp has really stepped up to be a player that I didn’t think he was capable of being any more. More importantly was the affect he had on the teamwork morale and cohesiveness as shown in the Bristol game. If he regresses to his old self then sure but he deserves the shirt at the moment. QPR wasn’t great but neither was anyone else. We have also seen him and winks play well together lately which I find just as surprisingly welcome but at a cost of dropping james or Mukasa. Not advisable other than to avoid overloading them.

He is not the worst striker I have seen in the last 5 days, I can think of a much worse one.

I think that’s close to good as it gets but my god the backline is slow and needs to play deep.
