We’re already relegated, we’re just going through the motions.

The team don’t care enough, we’ve got a bunch of loan players who have no affiliation to the club, a bunch of players who are out of contract in the summer so again, have no obligation to put in maximum effort, and then a host of players who simply aren’t good enough, or have downed tools and don’t want to be here anymore.

Couple that with a board room that simply do not know what they’re doing, finances spiralling out of control, and a fan base that’s split between passive zombification and anti KingPower.

None of this is conducive to running a successful sports franchise, we’re rotted, and it’s okay the positive folk coming on here trying to blame those who have had enough as ‘negative drivel’, but they’re failing to see this is a failing enterprise. We will not stay up, we will go down fairly pathetically, the signs are there, you’re asking for a sudden upturn in form that simply isn’t going to happen, the players don’t care enough.

Going to match-days just shows you the club is dying in slow motion. And half the fan base seemingly don’t care, and probably won’t realise the sheer state of things until it’s all too late.

We might win today, but we’re going to lose to both Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth, because it’s what we do.

Well you must have been watching a different game then.

Watched Patson Daka bottle a penalty and then get a goal less draw against an extremely poor Watford performance.

Nah, definitely watched the right game.

Ah-you’re taking the fact that a player missed a penalty as evidence that the entire team is mentally relegated already? So presumably if the keeper had dived the other way and we’d won the game, that would have been evidence that the team was mentally still up for it? And the fact that we kept a clean sheet and dominated a game for 90mins for the first time this season means nothing—it’s all about the penalty?

What makes you thinks we're not getting relegated? We have to do something we haven't done all season or last 2...go on a winning streak.

I believed this too. I think that we need 13 points from our final 7 games. I looked up when we last did this, believing it to be around February 2024. We actually achieved this between November and December THIS season.

I still think we will be safe. But have watched this team for 60 years I guess we won’t be. What is criminal is this team on paper has the players to be top 4 even with points deduction.

To win games you need to score goals, I have no idea where the goals are going to come from tbh ?

I really don’t know which is an acceptable answer.

We have some favourable fixtures, we have more quality than the other teams and defensively we have improved. However we have the propensity to offer absolutely nothing going forwards and put in limp-wristed performances.

I’d put it at 50/50 and the implied probability with the bookies is 40% so there is some value there.

More so the other 89+ minutes where we couldnt break down a pretty woeful opposition who offered basically nothing in return.

Im afraid it’s over. Love all the positivity but these lot do not care about Leicester City or us fans. Most of them will bugger off at the end of the season and it wouldn’t surprise me if there agents are in contact with other clubs now regarding moves. The ownership deserve nothing and us fans will be the ones that suffer the demise.

Nobody likes this over paid bunch of chancers but if you truly want us to go down you aren’t a proper fan of our club - I don’t care what anyone says - we absolutely NEED to stay up - most of these players won’t be here next year anyway - they don’t care - but we do care not about the players but the badge and this club - it’s our club - not theirs - and it always will be - no good at all will come from getting relegated - support the badge for these last games - the fox 🦊 needs all of us in its worst moment of peril

Regardless of what the players do, our fanbase will ensure we go down so they can tell their fellow fans ‘see, I told you we were shit‘.

Ah yea, it’s our fault!

They weren’t pretty woeful though- they went into our game off the back of an impressive 3-1 win over Wrexham and saw us as another 3 points to be in the play off mix ( they still have an outside chance of that). Give GR and the team some  credit- we out fought them, and had more goal threat ( wasn’t our xG 2?). So better finishing and confidence we’d have deservedly won. As a team that performance should have given us confidence.

Yes, that makes perfect sense.

If we don't get 6 points from next 2 games I feel it's game over and relegation. Confidence would be shot even more and don't see coming back from that. Conversely if we get 6 points would be great for morale and we can move forward into last few games with confidence. We have been so inconsistent God knows what's going to happen.

Because under our new manager we have clearly improved in terms of both defensive shape and mental resilience, and I expect us to continue improving. We appear to be on an upward trajectory at exactly the right time and we have a favourable fixture list to ride that trajectory. We will very likely avoid relegation, as the bookies are predicting.

I think we will know at 5pm how true this is. If we win the next 2 then we have a strong case, but we are still reliant on other results as well. I agree, he has improved us, but there are still brain fart players on the team who are not good when they go behind.

Today will be telling.

I did say on paper

To be fair, even on paper, our strike force is dogshit.  I never understand the on paper analogy. On paper ayew has never been a good striker. On paper Daka hasn’t been good since a half decent stint in a league one equivalent foreign league.

Our team is absolute dog muck, they aren’t under performing, they are just terrible players with god awful attitudes.  We just think they should be better than they are because we know they are being paid ridiculous wages. But the truth is, they are all shocking.

We don’t have the firepower to score the goals we will need to win 4 plus games, and despite a couple of clean sheets we will continue to concede. Mentality piss poor throughout. Only outcome therefore is relegation.

Even if we do survive  please dont think this is cause for celebration.

Its embarrassing  either way

Ultimately it's likely to be the 6 point EFL deduction that relegates us.

Indeed, it seems to have coincided with our complete drop off in form...
