There seems to be a lot of gloom and doom, we are not down yet, I think we can get to safety and build next season.

Is there anyone with something positive to say instead of negative drivel

We are very close. Need some big performance from the team. But they haven’t done so this season or last

We're done. I didn't think we'd go down until recently but Norwich made me think we could and QPR made me think we would.

We've won 1 game in God knows how many, we aren't suddenly going on a run, which is now needed. There aren't enough games left for us to get the 4 wins we need.

Nothing gets better until Toad and Smithers **** off.

I actually think we will do it. The tightening of the defence is jey and keeping lacelles fit. We see to have scored goals most of the season. Agree friday and monday are big though!

Definitely possible we can get out of it just don’t see it with these spineless players. Half of them know they won’t be here next season. Players only half the issue though whatever happens Rudkin and Top are still here. Can only think Top is happy with Rudkin and the job he’s done in the last few years otherwise why is he still here. We do need relegating for any chance of Rudkin leaving and that will only be through the fans protesting and making it very personal towards him.

I see a lot of people say this but we did it in 14/15. It's not impossible. And people will say that team was different etc but at that time, back then, we were hopeless and people couldn't see where the next win was coming from. If you go back and look at the threads from back then they are similar to now.

The next 3/4 games are vital and, more importantly, winnable. In fact I would say every game up until the Millwall and Hull back to back games are winnable.

I do believe we can do it, I'm clinging onto that hope now.

Tomorrow's game is massive. Preston have nothing to play for and we should be fighting for our lives. If we win and back it up with a win at Sheffield Wednesday on Monday, then I think that we stay up. We then have Swansea at home before travelling to Fratton Park to play an out of form Portsmouth.

I truly believe that another 13 points will see us stay up. As long as we go into the final game in 22nd place and within 3 points of Blackburn, then I give us a chance.

People are forgetting how bad Portsmouth are. They still have to go to Middlesbrough, Norwich and Coventry, and have Ipswich at home too. I think they will end up dropping.

Portsmouth are going down. Oxford will probably join them, though it could also potentially be Blackburn.

I agree, Portsmouth and Oxford. Think we will stay up :scarf:

We were always in games in 14/15 and were genuinely unlucky in some of them. We're somehow less competitive here in a lower league with a vastly more expensive squad.

Portsmouth might be ****ed. Their fixture list is very difficult. We need to use this weekend as an opportunity to get ahead, especially as Blackburn play WBA and Oxford play Portsmouth. Charlton have enough points to probably be safe. Blackburn's fixtures probably mean a bad weekend and they'll be right back in it. West Brom's away record is shambolic but their remaining away games are all very winable.

We shouldn’t even be in the bottom 3 anyway, so it’s not exactly a wild take

We absolutely should.

It's not in our hands mate. Portsmouth are a point above us with a game in hand, we could beat them and still go down. West Brom and Blackburn are 4 points ahead of us, we might not get 4 more points by the end of the season.

Anything less than 6 points from the next 2 games and we're down. Wouldn't surprise me at all if we beat Preston and then lost to Sheff Wed. We are the absolute pits!

On paper we should win our remaining games. On grass, I think we'll be lucky to win more than 3.
