Or just think differently to you.

What’s differently? Sitting in silence for 90 minutes thinking that’s support? Rather than protesting for the future of the football club?

Difference is if you want to protest do it after the game like a lot of clubs fans do might get a bit more support then

The irony of saying that on a Wednesday match thread isn’t lost.

The protests have been before and after the games, no one criticise those taking part for not backing the players, but if “backing the lads” is sitting in silence for 90 minutes then what’s the point?

I'm not really saying that you're right or wrong, just making the point that there is no definitive right or wrong, however clear it may seem. People have different opinions in life. We need to stop turning on each other just because some think differently.

Most clubs in protest actually do it during. Thinking most notably Sheffield Wednesday and Reading in recent memory

So what we saying, if you don’t sing you shouldn’t be able to buy a ticket? Shrewd strategy…..

Let's not pretend that protesting ever got rid of an incumbent owner - Mike Ashley, the glazers, chansiri...

The only time I can recall protests being successful was against the ill-fated super league but it doesn't work as a means of getting unpopular owners to basically sack themselves.

The idea that everything would be fine if only we could have a few more banners or boycott is foolish but getting wound up and turning on fellow fans about it is more brainless still.

Protests will make a point, show the powers that be what we think of them and give voice to anger but won't achieve much beyond that.

Unable to pay debts is what will kill us and force them out ,nothing else .The whole clubs running cost will swamp us in league 1, that's the only way they'll go ,the same way as Sheff Wednesday.

As a wise man once said. “What have protests ever achieved?” :P

Come on, large scale protests here could achieve a hell of a lot. At the moment, Aiyawatt still thinks he’s welcome here (I can’t quite claim with absolute certainty that he’s not based on what we’re seeing across the fan base atm) and the vanity project that owning this club has become for him is still intact.

That penny needs to drop for him that he’s not and that ownership of this club is negatively affecting his image before he’ll even consider selling. Right now, I think he thinks he’s adored.

I think they do have an effect but it's a much longer term thing. It creates resentment amongst the owner(s) and unless you're a PL owner making loads of money from the club (often indirectly), that will force you out at some point

How many of those having a go at people protesting before the game saying it will derail the squad applauded tomorrows opponents fans on the opening day as they carried out a protest that quite literally would have been noticed by their players I wonder?

And what happened next? Oh yeah, they squad with a fraction of the resources we had, have us a hell of a game and showed real togetherness with their fans.

Using this affecting the squad thing is rubbish and hypocritical given people supported Wednesday’s fans. It’s basically those we give Aiyawatt full backing but want to appear as though they agree there are problems at the club.
