Sadly feels like another must win game we won’t win. We’ve actually not played badly under Rowett bar a few shockers, but he’s not been able to turn improved underlying stats into the only stat that really matters… points!

It's because we dont have a striker. If they'd have got the Caranza siging right we would be in a completely different position. Just on this alone but how many balls have we flashed along the 6 yard box with nobody there this season?

How I'm going to stay up to "watch" this I have no idea, now - I've been stuck in bed all day thanks to being sick due to I assume 'faulty' - (it can't be me, right - I've eaten them before without issues :P ) - Sharwoods Chicken Korma frozen ready meal I had for lunch the day before :(

Sounds like you're currently having more fun than you will staying up to watch the team play.

The recent trend of not putting chances away comes from players being tense due to the situation they’re in. Snatching at things, not picking their spot, no calmness or composure, those Daka contacts vs Sheff Weds and Skipps chance, just guide it into the net, pass it in anything but panic stations, it’s a ball, that thing you train with each day.

The only debatable outcome is on which minutes Swansea score from a scruffy aftermath of a corner  to which the happy clappers will say “unlucky, it fell to them, could have gone anywhere, never falls our way” and a curler from the edge of the box to which the happy clappers will say “can’t do anything about those type of goals”.

Rowett will give us about 7 minutes of s**t or bust at the end with a 3-1-2-4 formation based on a Wild West posse galloping out of town, colliding like Keystone Cops as the wingers hook crosses over the bar.

Spot on, I’d go as far as to say with a  nearly 40 year old Vardy we’d be in the playoffs.

So you are suggesting we need to boo him more?

Which other players would benefit from this treatment?

I'm suggesting that there's a link between most of our players and the way James Justin has spoken out about his last years at our club. Obvious i know but we have a lot of decent players in the wrong head space. Ayew's equaliser was a goal of real quality and we boo him like we boo'd Justin.

It's not the fans fault that Justin played like a donkey for us, but it's probably not his either, he's a stand out player now.

If he starts Stiffy ahead of Monga today then that’s it

I know he needs dropping but let’s not pretend Monga has done anything for months. Half the time he looks disinterested

Monga looks disinterested all the time to me. 16 years old and playing professional football, you would think it would be every boys dream. But he seems like he can't be bothered, apart from his goal at Preston earlier in the season he's done nothing to warrant a place in the team.

I’d bring Vestergaard back in. He’s been our best defender this season (low bar I know) and his distribution is significantly better than Okoli’s and Lascelles’. I’d even risk Lascelles alongside Vesty, our best defence had two slow centre backs in Wes and Huth and these two are the best we have in the squad this year.

What about switching Fatawu to the left and giving a chance to the more direct style of Richards on the right? Monga hasn’t done much when he’s started.

Does anyone know if Benson and Hedges are available?

I think Hedges will be present at Aintree this afternoon, so sadly not. I’m not sure I’d trust this team to stay awake with a bed superstore on the bench.

Before the Preston match, I was thinking 5 points from Preston/Sheff Wed/Swansea was absolute minimum needed.      oh gawd .......

This really does feel like a "must win" game today.

You are most likely putting in some good runs from behind unlike our forwards.
